Everton are preparing themselves for the news that Tim Cahill made have suffered a recurrence of his broken metatarsal after limping off against Werder Bremen on Tuesday night. Cahill will have x-rays today so Moyes and Fantasy Managers everywhere, should know more very soon.
*Update* Despite rumours of a 3-month absence after today’s scan, Everton have denied this and reported the damage as “minor” compared to Cahill’s former injury. However, there is damage to the same area and there will be an absence. Further scans are expected at the weekend.
