Lawrie Sanches has lost new signing Aaron Hughes for at least a month. The defender ruptured ligaments in his foot in the pre-season game at QPR and will now miss Fulham’s matches throughout August and early September. Carlos Bocanegra is most likely to come in to the Fulham defence to partner Zat Knight against Arsneal at the weekend.
