Bolton have lost new signing Heidar Helguson for up to two months after the striker went under the knife for an ankle injury. Meanwhile full-back Nicky Hunt is likely to be a doubt for Bolton’s encounter with Birmingham after spraining his ankle against Everton. Luckily for Sammy Lee, Helguson absence coincides with a return for Kevin Davies from injury while Ricardo Gardner is also fit to help fill in for the loss of Hunt.
