Gary Megson seems likely to go into the Christmas period without Nicky Hunt after the right-back dislocated a shoulder against West Ham yesterday. Hunt was rushed to hospital after the match and is facing at least 6-8 weeks on the sidelines, although the full extent of the injury won’t be known until further examination later this week. His place at full-back will now go to Joey O’Brien who missed the West Ham game with his own injury concerns. Campo is another option for Megson.

Bolton face the might of Bayern Munich in the UEFA Cup on Thursday, followed by the slightly less mighty Middlesbrough. A possible clean sheet there then, although after that its United and Liverpool. You’re better off out of it Nicky.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
