Sven’s City side suffered a series of injuries from the at-the-death victory over Reading at the weekend but none of them appear to be serious. Elano and Corluka both suffered hamstring injuries while Dunne and Mpenza sustained calf and thigh injuries respectively. The good news for us all is that all four are likely to recover from their knocks and barring any reaction in training this week, they should all be part of the City squad for the weekend trip to Wigan.

That will be Steve Bruce’s first game in charge of course and with City’s stuttering away form, it’s looking a difficult one to call.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
