Portsmouth’s Noe Pamarot is set to be sidelined for a number of weeks with a hamstring injury sustained in the game against Spurs at the weekend [source]. The defender was forced off with just 15-minutes remaining with a leg injury and it’s now been reveled that he has suffered a reoccurrence of an old hamstring problem.

The injury comes just as Portsmouth are about to enter the busy Christmas period, followed by a month in which they’ll lose several key players to the African Cup of Nations. Judging by Redkapp’s reaction today, it appears that he has already written off Pamarot until well into the New Year.

“Noe has done a hamstring and we’ve got a big problem,” remarked Redknapp.

”Noe gets hamstrings, so we’ll wait and see how he is. It doesn’t look good though, we need all we can next month.”

Pamarot’s injury is certain to mean a recall for Hreidarsson at left-back.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
