Reports today are suggesting that Portsmouth’s Noe Pamarot could be be back in contention sooner than expected. Pamarot suffered a hamstring injury against Spurs which was thought to be a reoccurrence of an old injury. However, reports today suggest it is only a minor tear and that the defender could well be back in contention for the Boxing Day clash with Arsenal [source].
Pamarot will miss the trip to Anfield this week with Hreidarsson likely to be recalled to the side. He lost his place to Pamarot for the trip to Newcastle in early November and watched while his replacement rocket in a goal from 30-yards. The news of Pamarot’s likely return will be welcomed by many Fantasy Managers but there will be real doubt as to whether he will be able to oust Hreidarsson for a second time.
