Arsene Wenger has given us an update on the progress of both Rosicky and Eduardo today and there’s good news on the pair of them.
Rosicky hasn’t seen action in an Arsenal shirt since the Newcastle game on January 26 after suffering a hamstring injury but Wenger now expects the Czech midfielder to return to action in September. Rosicky still managed to contribute a credible 6 goals and 2 assists in just 15 starts last season, so his value to Arsenal and fantasy managers could be substantial on his return.
Eduardo meanwhile, suffered an horrific fracture and open dislocation of his leg in February and was expected to be out until Christmas or even the New Year. Wenger now predicts that his Croatian striker could make a return by November. Eduardo earned 4 goals and 5 assists in 12 starts for his fantasy managers last season.
