Samir Nasri is back in the Arsenal squad for Tuesday Champions League clash with Porto.

The midfielder has recovered from a knee injury sustained whilst on international duty with France and could well go straight into Wenger’s lineup, with the Arsenal boss threatening changes after Sunday’s defeat to Hull.

Elsewhere, Alex Song misses out with a hip injury suffered in the Carling Cup against Sheffield United. Wenger’s not too pleased about this one…

“I had him on the bench on Saturday but he did not feel comfortable and he had a little setback. That shows you that we lost a player through the Carling Cup – once again”, remarked Wenger.

With Nasri back, Wenger’s selection tomorrow night will certainly be of interest. Nasri will be in Wenger’s plans for the trip to Sunderland next weekend and offers a decent alternative to all those fantasy managers pondering the sale of Fabregas to free up funds for Ronaldo. His return could also threaten the starts of both Denilson or Walcott, depending on the availability of Song for the weekend. In a nutshell then, it’s all getting a bit complicated down at the Emirates.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
