This week we stick to their guns on Ronaldo, squash our faces against the frosted glass of the transfer window and splatter the weekend fixtures with the another array of impressive but probably meaningless statistics.
Smarting from an unspectacular Christmas and with Granville cruelly knocked out of this year’s fantasy cup competition; I waste no time in switching the conversation to my own glorious/fortunate cup run. The possibility of a new cup final suit and a glittering prize (cheers FPL), at least provides me with some comfort with Granny leading the mini-league table.
