The Liverpool striker was subbed in tonight’s Champions League tie with Real Madrid, just after the hour-mark, after sustaining an ankle injury in the first half.
Torres was seen to be struggling throughout the latter part of the first period and was still feeling the knock when he was subbed later in the game. He’ll now be an immediate doubt for the weekend game at Boro.
