Portsmouth Niko Kranjcar has suffered a nasty ankle injury in today’s 1-0 win over Bolton and the rest of his season could now be in doubt.

The Croatian suffered what look like a ankle sprain with 15 minutes to go and was replaced by Belhadj. Details on the injury are still scarce but some reports are suggesting ligament damage and that could sideline Kranjcar for a number of weeks. We’ll have to wait for scan results no doubt, but his chances of making the United game on Wednesday seem slim.

Kranjcar had been a popular fantasy signing this week, with two fixtures in the FPL gameweek.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
