As announced in our post late last week, Fantasy Football Scout have signed a partnership with the well-known bookie, Paddy Power. As part of the deal, we’ll be bringing you custom bets, created specifically for us fantasy managers here on the site, for your beard-stroking consideration.

Just a reminder too – anyone who registers for a Paddy Power account via the site by clicking here, and makes a £10 bet, will be handed a free £20 by Paddy Power. That’s a nice cuddly deal for anybody yet to place a pre-season flutter.

As for this week, we’ve created some special markets for one of the season’s early fast-moving bandwagons. Wolves’ unproven budget goal-getter, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake…

The Wolves man has proven to be a massively popular signing across all the fantasy games. As last season’s top scorer in the Championship, Wolves boss Mick McCarthy will be pinning his hopes of survival on the former United man. Us fantasy managers have also put faith in Ebanks-Blake.

Currently Ebanks-Blake is owned by over 12% of Fantasy Premier League managers and the trend is the same across the other popular fantasy games. The budget price tag, freeing up cash for Lampard and/or Gerrard in midfield, is the major factor behind his popularity, but there is also a real feeling that Ebanks-Blake could hit the ground running in the Premier League.

Paddy Power have put together a couple of new markets for us to help us put our money where our mouth is. You can place a bet on the total goals that Ebanks-Blake will score over the entire season by clicking here. Taking one look at the odds, it seems our bookmaker friends appear to share a strong regard for the striker – with odds of 3/1 on him scoring 13-15 Premier League goals this season. You can get 7/1 on 16 or more goals.

Alternatively, for those who have refused to be taken in by the all the hype, you can place a bet on the Wolves striker drawing a blank over his first five Premier League starts. An intriguing one that; it even offers a chance to hedge you bets if you’ve included him in your initial squad.

Have fun with that. We’ll bring you a bet, tailored just for you fantasy managers, each week. Have a flutter if the mood takes you. As mentioned previously, all your registrations and bets with Paddy Power made via this site help support us here at Fantasy Football Scout, so if you’ve yet to make your regular bets prior to the season kick-off, you’d be doing us a big favour by signing up with Paddy Power to do so, via this link.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
