Only one game tonight, one big game mind you. Chelsea play host to Bolton Wanderers this evening and can stretch their lead at the top of the table to a healthy looking 4 points over Manchester United.

So with all the talk of who will play out of Anelka & Drogba being bandied about the last few hours (and days), it turns out they both in fact do – leaving Florent Malouda on the bench. This contributor is crossing his fingers that his emergency captain either comes on and plays a blinder in his inevitable 10 minute cameo, or stays firmly rooted to the bench so Tevez can steal the handband away.

Oh, and if Malouda gets me the likely double 1-pointer – I’m still for the emergency captain rule on the whole. I’ll be frustrated, but for it.

The Dugout Discussion is also open in our chatroom for those of you wanting up to the second updates and a bit of under the floodlight banter, I’m off to be gracious host and squirm for the rest of the evening. Que sera, sera. An un-assisted Alex hat-trick anyone?
