The gameweek 34 curtain is brought down by three floodlit encounters at Villa Park, the DW Stadium and at White Hart Lane, where Spurs take on Arsenal in the North London derby.

Plenty of interest for Fantasy Managers then, not least the return to action for Robin Van Persie. With Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres doing their best to place oversized spanners in our end of season works, can the Arsenal maestro provide the Kwik-Fit solution and slot straight into our squads? Well if he’s going to convince us, he’s going to have to do it with a cameo role. Arsene Wenger starts Van Persie on the bench tonight. As for Harry Redknapp, he can recall Ledley King to his defence, whilst Danny Rose is given a first league start. Peter Crouch is stooping on the Spurs bench as Roman Pavlyuchenko earns a recall to partner Jermain Defoe up front.

Teams are also in from Villa Park where Martin O’Neill’s side face Everton. There are no major shocks in the home lineup – James Milner and John Carew both start. David Moyes drops Saha to the bench and starts with Yakubu. There’s no Arteta once again so Bilyaletdinov earns another starting berth.

At the DW stadium Roberto Martinez shuffles things against Cup conquering Portsmouth. Emmerson Boyce misses out again so in comes Steve Gohouri to the defence, allowing Paul Scharner to presumably take up a midfield role. It’s a much-changed Portsmouth lineup with a Premier League debut for Matt Ritchie and surprisingly no place in the eleven for Jamie O’Hara. It also appears that Avram Grant has only been able to select four subs on his bench.

As always you can share your joys and woes with other Fantasy Managers in terrifying real-time via our Dugout Discussion chatroom. The doors have been propped open for regulars and new guests alike.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
