What a glorious Sunday afternoon, but for those of you averse to sunlight and more concerned with the returns from your fantasy wares we plug along for two more matches of Premier League action starting at the DW stadium.
Wigan host Arsenal and make a few changes to their line-up from their lacklustre goalless draw with Portsmouth in midweek – Jason Scotland and Paul Scharner sit out with Marcelo Moreno and Ben Watson taking their place.
Arsene has too made a few changes to his starting line-up. Almunia is nowhere to be seen today as Fabianski gets a recall to the Arsenal XI while Silvestre joins Campbell in defence in place of the injured Vermaelen and Eastmond covers for also absent Denilson. Theo Walcott starts and perhaps most importantly for the eager manager out there: Robin Van Persie is only good enough for a place on the bench – the early investors will be hoping his likely cameo appearance today isn’t blighted by some wonder saves once more.
We’ll then stroll down to Fratton Park with Aston Villa as they prepare for their first of two matches this gameweek later this afternoon. Fingers crossed for a few handbands I am sure. The Dugout Discussion is open for business in the chat room for those of you looking to avoid mowing the lawn or clearing out the gutters, the more the merrier.
