As promised, we make our very own ScoutCast transfer deadline signing. Having scouted the whole of Europe looking for a new podcast contributor, we found one sleeping rough on our very own doorstep and welcomed Andy to join our evening recording soiree. Without hesitation or a thought for match fitness, we throw him straight into the starting line up for his debut to tackle podcast regulars – “The Weekend Preview”, “All Aboard” and “Fantasy Island Risks”.
After an impressive first-half showing, the second-half gets underway with an aerial bombardment aimed directly at his Fantasy Premier League points tally, and by the time the hour mark passes his potentially short-sighted wildcard gets a thorough probing. Andy comes through the other side but by end of almost 90 minutes but he knows he’s been in a tussle on his debut.
