With the gameweek deadline drawing in and the heat getting turned up on the comment boards, it’s time to open up our Saturday Surgery chatroom.

Those Fantasy Managers looking for validation, inspiration and a good helping of high-speed banter to see them through to the Fantasy Premier League gong, can check-in right here.

Our Dugout Discussion chatroom will open up at around 12.30 to cover the first of today’s kick-offs, as Nikola Zigic carries the hopes of thousands of Fantasy Managers on his lofty shoulders against the Baggies. Is it only me feeling rather uncomfortable about relying on the fortunes of the skyscraper Serb?

    Terrible season for me. Non-players beating me despite my hours of research per week. Unlucky captains IMHO.

        Thats the conclusion I came to, fixtures and the DGW he has. Already did Fabs-Lampard, Vidic - Carr ( DGW ) and Ferguson - Nasri. Then thought lets be even braver and do Odem - Zigic for 12! Shudder, have never taken a 12 point hit before.

        Last week worked out great with an 8 point hit so fingers crossed.

    Regarding the Captains poll. On a points per game basis, Baines and Foster should rate much higher than 5% & 4% respectively.

    Baines x 2 = 8.2 ppg and Foster x 2 = 8.6 ppg. Thats's noticeably clear of the likes of Nani (6.8) and Tevez (6.4).

    I'm thinking Baines. Anyone else?

      Tevez home average must be quite sizeable though because his away tally his pretty much tosh. The points per game is a good statistic to use but isnt always a good sign.

      It's the reason I played Rooney ahead of Tevez in the Manchester derby t'other week. Despite everyone saying I was mental.

      Would do Smalling>Djourou as utd wont keep may CSs when Smalling plays [Smalling playing = no Rio]

    urgent advice needed!

    My teams is:

    Szczeny (Al Habsi)
    Huth/R Johnson/Coleman (Samba/Elmohamady)
    Barton/Nani/Nasri/Silva (Adam)
    Vela/Berbatov/Zigic

    I've already taken a 4-point hit, as my team was in a mess with injuries.
    I have lots of cash (12.3) in the bank. So can afford any replacement.
    But with Barton doubtful, and 2 of my 3 strikers not definite starters. . .

    Should I make another change? Which one? and Who's the best pick for captain?
