Fantasy Football Scout moved to new servers this evening. What you’re seeing now is the site served up by our new boxes.

There are a couple of notable changes you should be aware of. Firstly the Recent Comments is using new code which fixes the problem with links not taking users direct to comments on pages.

Secondly we’ve added some Facebook and Twitter integration – you can now “Like” and “Tweet” articles posted on the site. This may not work until we’ve switched certain site settings but this should be working fine in the next 24 hours or less.

Indeed, there may well be some teething troubles and we still have some housekeeping jobs to do so please be patient while we get used to our new surroundings. Thanks in advance.

*Edit* There’s a known issue with some users getting a message regarding posting comments too quickly. We’re currently looking into this. Thanks for your patience.

*Edit* We’ve cracked the problem with the comments error. This should be solved for all users by the morning – it’s linked to server settings that will take time to filter throughout the big internet thing.

*Edit* Recent Comments now uses the comment poster name to link to comment in addition to the >> link.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

What about Zamora? It sounds he will be fit to start vs Blackpool.

I suppose it depends if he will get the Bolton(h) fixture back in gw 33.

Yeah, could be a good one week punt. But after that it's United away, a potentially blank fixture (unsure if it's been rearranged yet) then a couple of away fixtures.

Also personally I'm trying to think as long term as possible at the moment. I can't afford to keep taking hits.

True, only problem with the cheap replacements for Saha is that they all(Except maybe Carrol) have tought away games so little use in gw31.

Thats been my problem but had other priorities! Carroll or Welbeck are the choices for me. The latter has a better run in and is cheaper so the extra cash can be spent elsewhere

but will sunderland be trying as hard? they are safe and i can see them losing the 'easier' games to lesser opposition who want to win. i'm looking and carroll, doyle, DJ

thats a good point, but I lways thought the higher up the table you finish the more money you receive? If thats the case surely sunderland would like a little extra cash in their kitty, especially if they want a bigger squad with the injuries they've had recently

That is true. but i think the likes of blackpool & wolves will be trying harder, im not saying sland won win any more games and give up, just the mentality in the smaller teams will be quite different.

Westham/wolves fixtures 36-38 do look tempting, especially if you need to fill the 3rd striker spot with a cheapy.

Ohara is going to be my player from wolves as my cheap mid, then carroll/welbeck for the remainder and probably change that to Ba for the last 2 gws. I've mapped my team out for the run in and can just make the odd tweek when injuries/bans happen

True, S'land's fixtures are pretty irresistable until the end of the season. There's just something that doesn't fill me with confidence about Welbeck. I can't see him getting in amongst it as much as Gyan for example.

Gyan is always going to be the main threat, is he on the pens now? I see wlebeck notching the odd goal and assist and for 4.6mil(think it's that) it would be good value for money.

Yeah I've got a few in mind. I'll probably be looking at the likes of DJ, Zamora and Carroll so I can free up funds to use elsewhere. I'd love Zamora for the next GW but his fixtures aren't great after that.

I just don't get the Welbeck love:
          (a) fixtures are one thing but you also need to look at the form of the team you are buying...Sunderland can hardly score at all...I watched the Liverpool game and they were hopeless as an attacking force in my opinion
          (b) Is Bruce gonna play 4-4-2 all of a sudden? Isn't Gyan the main man? How much will Welbeck play? Will he play every game but from the wing?
          (c) There seems much love for Welbeck but nothing for Chicarito. That's because we can all tell he's likely to be rotated. Is Welbeck any different? (I know he's cheaper)

Surely D.J. is a MUCH better choice?

Too be fair wellbeck started on the wing against liverpool but we didn't have fully fit team and were playing tough opposition. Brucve must surely see by now that gyan isn't doing enough as an attacking force. He's just not a natural goalscorer like bent was. Not sure how we'll line up against city but for the final 7 'easier' fixtures, given everyone's fit, I'm pretty certain our front formation will be as follows:

            Henderson Cattermole Muntari Sessengnon
            Gyan Wellbeck

Wellbeck was on fire before he got injured and by far our best player. Give him a few weeks to get back up to spped and I'm sure he's gonna be amongst the goals again.

      Looks good, maybe even overkill.

Can't see Arsenal keeping a cleanie so wouldn't worry about Djourou, B'ham might keep one cleanie. The rest look solid apart from Zigic who, in my opinion, is a bit iffy.

I'd suggest the key players are: Foster, Luiz, Lamps, Nasri & RVP.

Tempting, but will probably give it a miss. Too much uncertainty surrounding who will start; both Torres and Drog could end up getting benched. Think I'll sit tight with RVP and Roon and hope lamps does the business.

I have Foster, Carr, Luiz, Nasri, RVP and I want Lampard. Wouldn't bother with Zigic, but I think RVP is a must for the rest of the season. Lampard could possibly be essential, as much as anyone can be. Great fixtures, decent form.

Honestly I'm not sure, will have to assess over the next few weeks, if he hits form then Rooney to Torres is a no brainer for the DGW. At the moment ive got Lamps & Luiz and I was contemplating Cech or another defender.

If I offload him I'd want him back for gw36 but should be an easy swap terry to cheap defender like walker, and then whoever I shunt in midfield to VDV. Really want to get 2 chelsea defenders in for their run of WIG, wbm, BIR, WHM, looks too attractive.

Agree with the comments here. I don't think enough players are taking advantage of the fact that, although he's a budget player in temrs of price, Adam is a big player ion temrs of the fact that you can play him every week. So you can easily afford to get another cheap midfielder, and then plough that money into the rest of your team.
