Fantasy Football Scout moved to new servers this evening. What you’re seeing now is the site served up by our new boxes.

There are a couple of notable changes you should be aware of. Firstly the Recent Comments is using new code which fixes the problem with links not taking users direct to comments on pages.

Secondly we’ve added some Facebook and Twitter integration – you can now “Like” and “Tweet” articles posted on the site. This may not work until we’ve switched certain site settings but this should be working fine in the next 24 hours or less.

Indeed, there may well be some teething troubles and we still have some housekeeping jobs to do so please be patient while we get used to our new surroundings. Thanks in advance.

*Edit* There’s a known issue with some users getting a message regarding posting comments too quickly. We’re currently looking into this. Thanks for your patience.

*Edit* We’ve cracked the problem with the comments error. This should be solved for all users by the morning – it’s linked to server settings that will take time to filter throughout the big internet thing.

*Edit* Recent Comments now uses the comment poster name to link to comment in addition to the >> link.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

The only United player I have is Berbatov, I want to bring Valencia/Nani in soon but I have these transfers lined up...

    GW31 Arteta>Adam
    Tevez>RVP
    GW32 Barton>Walcott
    GW33 Berbatov>Gyan

I'm struggling to see where I could fit them in now ðŸ™
    This is my midfield:

    Downing VDV Lamps Barton Arteta

What would you do? *points like Uncle Sam*

          Barton>Nani
          Berbatov>Gyan

I can but it would have to be for a hit in GW 32. But then I have an extra transfer to make before GW33 already fielding this team:

          Foster
          Walker Luiz Coleman

I too am going to go for Welbeck, because he's a wonderfully cheap player that you can just whack in your team from now til the end of the season, and unless he really looks terrible, not worry about taking him out.

Although the need to find the cash to bring in Lampard is also a motivating factor for me, when it comes to choosing him over Carroll.

?? After the next gw I'd say they're pretty decent. Check his form before he got injured. Was playing really well then too. Give him a few weeks and as long as he plays up front (been operating on wing at times) then he'll be amongst the goals. I see gyan as more of a hold up player and wellbeck as a goalscorer

          1) his fixtures are sweet
          2) his price is 4.6
          3) his form before injury was amazing for his price
          4) having him allows money elsewhere without having to worry about form.

By "feck all lately" I assume you mean the two brief appearances he's made in the last 8 games against two tough sides?

          That's where it comes from.

Brutal. Hmm, well you could look to suarez over rooney although I'm not 100% convinced myself.

Alternative would be to scrap the squad game and just get a budget defender instead of smalling. Just looked and jones for blackburn is 4.2. Would be right amount of cash and he's back from injury now. Was a main player for them beforehand and picks up bps.

Can't remember a Championship player ever costing more than 5.5 on promotion in FPL. Will he be the next Adam or the next Dorrans? Or god forbid the next gary mcsheffrey 😮
          actually was mcsheffrey 6.0?

There's more traffic on now so I'll throw this out there again.
Which one would you play this week out Barton (WOL), meireles (wba), sturridge (bir) ?
Or should I do meireles to adam (ful) for free and play him over all of them, was thinking I might roll over the freebie.

yeah fair point, I can see positives for each of them so it's a tough choice. Barton has the best fixture and is the main man in mid for newcastle, meireles I think could be well suited for the wba game and I reckon there's goals in that one, Sturridge has the worst fixture but I can't shake the feeling he's gonna put brum to the sword. Leaning towards sturridge or barton atm.

                i dont know yet

if i go rooney to rvp my options are brum/spurs rotation which is tempting as they have the double in gwk36

if stoke wolves is scheduled for gwk33 i can go begovic/cech and 2 sunderland def's to rotate with stoke

if i go bent to rvp its gota be bargain basement defence and no trebling

All this moving and shaking to get lamps in for gw33 could turn out to be a mistake, not that I don't think lamps won't do well but it will mean captaining him instead of van persie due to better fixtures in the dgw, could get burnt by the dutchman for sure.

    really like the idea of

    huth/bent out

    walker/rvp in

    two freebies aswell

rvp will rise before both games r played though, would it be madness to make the transfer before he has played both games?

Defo wait imo tosey, unless you are walking the 0.1 transfer tightrope. Most of your squad probably have one or two games ahead of them before the next fpl fixture, anyone could get crocked and that will change tour priorities/plans.

yes it would be madness, but if you NEED the cash then do it 😉

Go for it. Surely down to sod's law these injuries can't keep coming. Mind you I'm kind of hoping vdv picks up a niggle which would make my decision to get rid easier

International break plus not planning to make any transfers is a real ball ache! I kinda hope someone does get injured so I have to make a transfer.
