The gameweek draws to a close at the Cottage tonight as Fulham play host to a Bolton side surely flowing with confidence following the late 2-1 win over Arsenal on Sunday. The Trotters have suffered a major blow when it comes to their starting lineup however, with the hottest of shots Daniel Sturridge failing to overcome an ankle knock suffered late on against the Gunners. He misses out, disappointing many a Fantasy Manager in the process.

There’s also a let-down in the Fulham lineup as Mark Hughes puts out an unchanged side; Bobby Zamora is once again warming the bench then, apparently suffering from a back problem. His owners will hope to see him emerge at some point though, and perhaps even earn an assist or two that qualifies for some points this time.

With the small matter of the Real vs Barcelona Champions League clash rumbling on in Spain, this post can be used to soak up all your floodlit comments, with real-time chat going on in the Dugout Discussion as per usual.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I would say Suarez... he's bursting to knock a few past someone after a lot of good performances. Think Newcastle could be the proverbial lambs to slaughter. Am in a similar dilemma myself in that considering taking out Rooney for Suarez this week....

I think if the retard ref didn't send off Van Persie Arsenal would've gone through too. For example he would have buried the chance the Danish retard had at the end, jamsie was dead right earlier about Barca and decisions there way in Europe now I think about it. Robbed Chelsea few years ago too in semi

Teams are too scared to play like that against Barca because you run the risk of getting completely destroyed.

Truth is, though, it probably has a higher success rate than parking the bus. It was silly of us to try that at the Nou Camp.

It's definitely right to play attacking football when you're at home to Barca. It's worked for United, Milan, Arsenal and Chelsea.

That result tonight has really hit me hard. Was looking good on Sunday evening but have slipped a couple of places. Currently got Rooney / RVP / Bent up top... would it be madness to ship out Rooney for Suarez this week for a good captain pick?? Man U have tough games coming up and Rooney may not play in the last couple. Also need to get rid of Cech for Hart as have Chelsea cover with Luiz and they have 2 tough fixtures coming up. Worth the 4 point hit or not?

its a tough one but not a bad shout. none of my close rivals have suarez but a couple of guys have rooney and captain him every week (die-hard man yoo...) so if it goes wrong and he comes up trumps and the emirates then i'll be in trouble. but there is def more likelihood in suarez getting a few goals / assists in the next few games.

Hmm yeah I would find a link but I can't really be bothered. To be fair he was saying that both teams were as bad as each other, but obviously mourihno was worst outof them all 😉

Guardiola gave exactly the same interview tonight that he gave after the Arsenal game. "eh, it's not for me to talk about the referee decision."

Can't he even make the concession that his team unjustly played against 10 men again.

Why unjustly? It was a red card all day long. And anyway, red card or not, the final score is absolute justice and Barcelona deservedly won. Someone is afraid of them, I reckon.

No "Johny Evans is much better than Pique" and "3-0 United" predictions this time round, eh?

    Question peeps:

Nani out - Kuyt in or
    Zamora out - Suarez in

    will (c) either
would be for a -4 though as already done Nasri to Yaya

    opinions much appreciated

Thanks dk123, leaning that way otherwise trouble who to bench. With Kuyt would bench Zamora this week.

I am thinking the same thing after a disappointing week but am going to let the dust settle and wait for a clear head tomorrow!

Bar Nani OUT, I can't really see any problem with any of those players out, just that Nani will probably start having been rested midweek, and we all know how he played in the Emirates last season. Not pushed on City defense (but I said that about Fulham going into this week), Ya Ya IN is a good move in my opinion, Odemwingie is looking quite irresistible, how about just Ethers and Zamora OUT Ya Ya and Odemwingie IN?

Good points, I was debating getting rid of Fabregas instead of Nani as I don't really rate his out put for his price but he's a more certain starter. Lescott could wait but if I don't get Kuyt this week I probably won't bother.

Odem is hitting serious form and although it can't go on forever WBA have some nice games to come.

Im not coping with losing the top spot i've had since gwk1 and am considering an 8 point hit..

A.Cole, Nani (who rival also got rid of) & Ethers OUT

    Kuyt, Silva & Lescott IN

Should i just take a breather and think about it tomorrow? ha

RMT for the weekend? Trying to figure out whether to twist or stick.

    Foster (Robinson)
    Luiz, Coleman, Kolarov (Huth, Clark)
    Adam, Dempsey, Kuyt, Nani (Young)
    RVP, Drogba, Odemwingie

Mini league very tight although I have a small lead. So wondering about Nani/Young>Silva for 4pt hit.
