A strong run of upcoming fixtures for Arsenal sees Theo Walcott ranked highly on our updated Watchlist.

Having suffered an ankle injury during pre-season, the winger made a tentative beginning to the campaign as Arsene Wenger eased him back into first-team action with a thirty minute sub appearance in the opener at Newcastle. Since returning to full fitness, however, Walcott has been a key figure as the Gunners look to rebuild following a summer of key departures.

His contribution to Arsenal’s Champions League qualifying campaign proved crucial, scoring home and away against Udinese as Wenger’s side secured a place in the group stages at the Italian club’s expense. Walcott also scored in the recent 8-2 humiliation at Old Trafford, meaning he has netted three times in four starts for Arsenal this season. Clearly, he’s a man in form and a look at the next six Gameweeks highlights he also has the fixtures- the ideal Fantasy combination, then.

As highlighted in our recent Watchlist article, Arsenal have the kindest run of upcoming games of any top-flight side, with four of the next six games at the Emirates. With (SWA, bla, BOL, tot, SUN, STK) up next, it’s fair to say there’s a substantial chance of the Gunners scoring in every one of those fixtures and although Robin Van Persie will no doubt be the preferred option by many, Walcott is finally showing the consistency that has previously failed him and made him such a frustrating Fantasy choice.

Priced at 9.0 and owned by just 76K Fantasy managers, he looks like flying under the radar in the meantime, though with Brendan Rodgers’ Swansea arriving at the Emirates this Saturday, Walcott looks in the mood to change all that.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

      tough....on fixtures has to be

      RVP Rooney and Dzeko

      on form

      Rooney - Dzeko and Suarez

combining the two creates what I think is the best combination for the next few weeks.

      RVP Rooney and Dzeko.

That what I'm leaning towards... Tho as a Liverool fan I hate doesn't feel right not having Saurez, hate that conflicted feeling when watching him then!!

I think any three of those will bring in big points over the next few weeks. flip a coin...if you can find one with four sides.

I'm going for Suarez - RVP - Rooney...way better than this time last year when I had Drogba (start of his draught) Boselli (couldn't get rid for another week ) and Elmander (my one form striker).

            ha ha true..

I have now moved on to my next conundrum..

            Nasri or Silva?

I think Nasri will be involved more around box but hard to sell silva after GW1 and GW2 performances..

flip a coin again. Man City will score big and score big often. They have many players capable of getting big scores. The trick is getting the right one at the right time. I could say yer, get Nasri, and Silva not he will get 15 pts....the next week Nasri will get it.

TBH doesn;t matter which you get...over a period of a few weeks each will score huge, as will dzeko, aguero and probably Tevez if he can stop slagging off Manchester. (BTW most of Argentina is pretty chilly and I'd far rather hang out in pubs and clubs in Manchester than with loads of mulletted Argentians listening to bad spanish heavy metal)

Going crap so far, have to play wildcard. Any thoughts on having both Arteta and Walcott in the midfield? Getting Mertsacker in for defence coverage. Is the 2 in the midfield too much even though the fixtures look good? Your thoughts guys.

Too late to WC if you havent played it already (you have missed all the price rises)...Save it till the next international break which I thinks in GW7-8????

Arsenals Defence I wouldn't spend any money there - much better options elsewhere like Kompany...

As for the other big question - I'm in the same boat...walcott looks a threat but is he injured? And Arteta may take time to settle.

      Have you got RVP?

Dzeko. I wildcarded him in saturday last. Then (drunkenly) wildcarded him out the day after for suarez (I'd rather suarez as a season keeper) so I've lost .2 million i think on the move.

Now I'm considering getting Dzeko back due to suarez's bad fixtures?

Stick with suarez or get dzeko back for wigan??? arghhhhh

LIV might not have horrible fixtures but when compaired to MC, you could say there bad fixtures.

I see no reason why he would not start. I expect Wenger to pick:

Only alternatives to Theo would be Arshavin (dire vs. Man Utd) or Rosicky, latter being slightly more likely.

Hey Cowls, fellow Unitedite here. I think you may be the only one I've seen on the boards. Anyway, I like your team a lot. There's very little I would change. I don't have the gonads (even if WCing) to go with Adebayor, but I think he could be an inspired selection. No Chelsea or Lpool coverage, except for Boswinga, but it looks good. The 3 Swansea players are some of the best bargains in the game this year. Otherwise, there is very little offering from the promoted clubs.

your problem is that you cannot have a team including Walcott, Young, Nasri, Rooney, Dzeko and one of RVP and Suarez without the rest of your team being complete pants.

Four big guns is doable, five at a push, but six is not possible.

You need to ditch one of Young Nasri or Walcott if you want RVP in.

Sorry people, but does this look like a good WC team:

    Krul Vorm
    Enrique Warnock Bos Ward DeLaet
    Young Silva Brunt Barkley Dyer
    Rooney RVP Dzeko

    Look OK to ye?

Very decent, although - if fit - I'd much rather Jarvis than Brunt. West Brom aren't playing particularly good sides over the next few weeks, but have a few away games, and Hodgson sides never do well in them.

Thanks boss. I don't have the cash for Jarvo, but could go O'Hara. I know what you mean about WBA away - good shout.
