Three home matches in the next four have propelled Jonathan Walters up the Watchlist rankings, as Stoke continue to build on progress that has seen them successfully establish themselves in the Europa League, whilst maintaining solid league form.

Although Tony Pulis’ side may have struggled on their travels, their performances at the Britannia have been a different matter altogether. Stoke have conceded just a single goal in their four home games so far and, while their defence will no doubt receive some heavy Fantasy interest, Walters has arguably made a bigger impression than the Potters rearguard.

Nine Gameweeks into the season and the Republic of Ireland international, thanks in part to his role up front, is the top-scoring Fantasy Premier League (FPL) prospect in the Stoke City squad with a total of 43 points.

A breakdown of his Britannia returns thus far make for interesting reading – 2 goals, 3 clean sheets and a strong 7 bonus points; he’s failed to bank bonus in just one of his home fixtures to date, the season opener against Chelsea. Bonus has come against Liverpool (2), Man United (2) and Fulham (3)- in front of the Potters faithful, indicating that Walters’ game is clearly suited to the new EA SPORTS PPI scoring system.

At just 6.1 in the FPL, Walters costs less than the injury-prone Matt Etherington (6.4) and has just 5.7% ownership right now. With spot-kick duties also seemingly in the bag, he’s looking a strong proposition ahead of a run of games that sees him face Newcastle, Blackburn and QPR at the Britannia.

Walters warmed up for next Monday’s clash with Newcastle by grabbing an assist in Stoke’s 2-1 defeat by Liverpool last night and was unlucky to have a goal disallowed. Clearly, his eye for goal is in right now and Pulis will be reliant on him to deliver as the Potters look to bounce back from their Carling Cup exit.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

As I haven't got a clear option this week transfer wise, ie, whatever I do will be wrong, I've taken to comparing my transfer targets to potential weekend activities in order to help me decide.

    Would I rather:

    - Sell Stephen Ward for Ryan Shawcross - Which is like going to a car boot sale, walking around a bit, decide that everything on offer is pretty naff yet you end up buying something you don't really want because you feel like you have wasted petrol to get there, or...

    - Selling RVP and buying Sergio - Going to Spearmint Rhino. And having a VIP pass.

    Tough call.

RVP has good fixtures and Aguero risk of rotation was my reason for not doing that transfer, hopefully silva can be enough city cover for this GW

Man City play Villareal away next Wednesday. They are 3rd in the group, so it's a game they need to win.

Any ideas on whether there will be rest/rotation for this Saturday's game vs. Wolves?

Don't see them risking their huge team members to make sure they dont accidentally get injured. They played a 'weaker' side mid week against wolves and destroyed them, so whats the point in putting their best players out? When they need them for that match they need to win.

I've kneejerked a bit to try and win my company's MOTM.

4 point hit and my team now looks like this

    Vorm (Krul)
Smalling Enrique Richards (Warnock R Taylor)
Silva(c) Milner Ramsey Modric (N Dyer)
    Suarez Adebayor RVP

Does it stand a chance of my 65 point target?

Also how do I upload photos? do I need to be a paid member?

The risk is you are talking about investing over a quarter of your money in three players from one team, two of which are at risk of rotation. If MC win 6:1 again tomorrow but Silva and Aquero are on the bench you may only get 2-4pts.

As it happens I reckon Silva and Aguero are nailed on because they were rested midweek but a lot of people on here think otherwise.

Good pick with the upcoming fixtures. He adds a different dimension to the Stoke attack and is one of the few out of positions in the game. Every point matters and that means he gets one extra point for each goal and clean sheet.

I'm having serious doubts about my team from above

    IVorm (Krul)
Smalling Enrique Richards (Warnock R Taylor)
Silva Milner Ramsey Modric (N Dyer)
    Suarez Adebayor(c) RVP

I honestly dont know what to do about my defence, I think Ill play what I have kind of feel stupid that I got milner as well as silva now, he'll probably go after a week or 2 - just need a better keeper (for fixtures) and possibly get rid of R Taylor with their bad run?

Suarez has another game week, after that i might go Torres and Modric only has another week before I cut.

Might be an 8 pointer if this weekend goes badly!
