A run of three home fixtures in the next four gameweeks brings Jamie O’Hara into our updated Watchlist rankings this week. Back from a one-match suspension, the former Tottenham man will be key to Mick McCarthy’s side as they look to climb the table after a disappointing first few months of the season.

With Wolves sitting fourth-bottom, just two points above the relegation zone, this upcoming run of games will be a critical part of their season and O’Hara’s recent form certainly offers reasons to be optimistic. Site Members will be all too familiar with his potential- O’Hara’s threat and creativity has seen him stationed in the top ten of our ICT Index virtually all season, with a recent change of system from Big Mick finally allowing him to flourish as a Fantasy asset.

A move to 4-5-1 has afforded O’Hara the chance to play further forward, tucked in just behind Kevin Doyle, and while his away form has been far from flattering, he has scored in his last three Molineux games in all competitions. League goals against Swansea and Wigan, in addition to netting against Man City in the Carling Cup defeat, are clear examples of a resurgent eye for goal.

While a trip to Old Trafford could blunt his returns, a look at his other fixtures in the aforementioned run (SUN, mun, STO, NOR) shows just why he’s sprung to our attention. Sunderland, Stoke and Norwich have been abysmal on their travels, with a single away win each so far this season and if Wolves can replicate the home form that seen them dismiss Man City, Man United and Chelsea at Molineux last term, O’Hara will surely feature.

Priced at just 5.7 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) and with an ownership of just 1.8%, he could prove a handy, mid-priced differential over the next few matches ahead of the busy Christmas schedule.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Already done a transfer this week and next week was considering a hit to bring in Baines. That was going to involve Given to Westwood and Jones to Baines.

May just take the hit this week and do Drenthe to O'Hara which would allow me the cash to do Jones to Baines next week for no hit.

I need to do the extra transfer to free up the cash, and with VDV a doubt I don't want 2 midfielders on the bench again this week. Can always bench O'Hara and play Dyer (ful @ home) the next week.

His early stats were poor, when Wolves played 442 with Doyle and Fletcher up top. Both strikers are now fit and there's speculation they will play that again. this will be the first time both are fit for some time.

Most of OHara's points have come when they have played one up, giving him more freedom.

In conclusion: May be best to see what formation he plays with a fit Doyle and Fletcher.

Word of caution on O'Hara. Wolves might play 4-4-2 this week in their must win game.

    http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2011/12/01/double-boost-for-wolves-as-key-duo-fit/

O'Hara is not as effective in 4-4-2 as 4-5-1 as everyone is probably aware of by now.

    Vorm (Begovic)
Kompany, Jones, Jose Enrique, (Wilkinson, Taylor,S)
    Larsson, Silva,VDV, Bale, (Allen)
    Klasnic, RVP, BA

    £0.6 in bank, 1 FT

any advice on how to bring in Ade without affecting the balance of the team?
I am strongly considering VDV (the suspense is killing me) to Walters then Klasnic to Ade for a 4 point hit,

Played it while Fletcher/Doyle were out, basically just gave O'Hara more of a free role and he thrived on it. McCarthy recognised that it got the best out of him, but looks like with strikers back he might switch. I think the best option is to look how they do this weekend, if they play 4-5-1 then get O'Hara in for their 2 home games GW16-17. The best you can do I think if you're gonna get O'Hara, bit risky getting him in for this game imo.

they've played it more recently but haven't had both Doyle and Fletcher fit at the same time. 4-4-2 worked well at the start of the season. 4-5-1 in the last home game worked well against Wigan and O'Hara got 15 pts. I think it's difficult to call which way Mick will go. I'd wait and get O'Hara in for Stoke and Norwich home if 4-5-1 is played on Sunday and they get the right result.
