A run of three home fixtures in the next four gameweeks brings Jamie Oโ€™Hara into our updated Watchlist rankings this week. Back from a one-match suspension, the former Tottenham man will be key to Mick McCarthyโ€™s side as they look to climb the table after a disappointing first few months of the season.

With Wolves sitting fourth-bottom, just two points above the relegation zone, this upcoming run of games will be a critical part of their season and Oโ€™Haraโ€™s recent form certainly offers reasons to be optimistic. Site Members will be all too familiar with his potential- Oโ€™Haraโ€™s threat and creativity has seen him stationed in the top ten of our ICT Index virtually all season, with a recent change of system from Big Mick finally allowing him to flourish as a Fantasy asset.

A move to 4-5-1 has afforded Oโ€™Hara the chance to play further forward, tucked in just behind Kevin Doyle, and while his away form has been far from flattering, he has scored in his last three Molineux games in all competitions. League goals against Swansea and Wigan, in addition to netting against Man City in the Carling Cup defeat, are clear examples of a resurgent eye for goal.

While a trip to Old Trafford could blunt his returns, a look at his other fixtures in the aforementioned run (SUN, mun, STO, NOR) shows just why heโ€™s sprung to our attention. Sunderland, Stoke and Norwich have been abysmal on their travels, with a single away win each so far this season and if Wolves can replicate the home form that seen them dismiss Man City, Man United and Chelsea at Molineux last term, Oโ€™Hara will surely feature.

Priced at just 5.7 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) and with an ownership of just 1.8%, he could prove a handy, mid-priced differential over the next few matches ahead of the busy Christmas schedule.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    If VDV is out:

    Brown to Baines
    VDV to Sess/Larsson

    8 point hit

Mulling and pondering as I'm desperate for some more Baines action. Then again, I intend to keep VDV long term barring a major injury.

Yep, I think VDV and Baines are long term picks. T'is a tricky one.

I can see a major Baines haul this week. Hopefully Diego Walters will have something to say.

    Vorm ( Given )
Enrique Walker ShawX ( Simpson Turner )
Mata ( VC ) VDV Silva Rodwell ( Dyer )
    Ade RVP (C ) Studge

Am seriously considering ShawX to Jags and Rodwell to O'Hara for a 4 point hit - then can play Dyer next week for Fulham ( H )

Don't like hits, especially for a defender but think Stoke are going to get hammered and think O'Hara is a good punt and differential? My team is far too similar to my opponent in the cup and need a differential or two!

Team is now set - used 2 free transfers to bringing in Bale and Kompany for VDV (even if VDV plays in the upcoming xmas run really cant see him playing 2 games a week) and Shawcross

    its fairly generic

    Krul/Vorm

    Baines, Enrique, Kompany (simpson, Mcauley)

    Nani, Walters, Bale, Brunt (dyer)

    Aguero, Sturridge, RVP

should i be concerned with too much cash in defence long term? probably going to downgrade aguero to Ba in the coming weeks and upgrade Walters/Brunt to maybe Mata.

Anything else i should be thinking of?

I'm thinking Rooney to Hernandez, and McCauley to Baines for a four point hit.

    also captaining barndoor rather thanSilva

    Sound moves?

Surely RVP should be captain. Look at Silva's points before Champions league games. Not captain material despite it being Norwich.

As far as hits go that is a very good one.

Well I thought that about rvp last week. That's why I'm going for ade this week. I like to choose the home player for captain if possible.

Anyone any good bets for this eve?

I am on Twente to beat Fulham 2-1 as there was a price boost to 18/1. Other than that just having a look at the games later....

    Vorm(Krul)
Enrique, Jones, Brown (Woodgate, R taylor)
    Drenthe, Sinclair, VDV, Silva (Dyer)
    RVP, Adebayor, Hernandez
0.9 in bank, 1 free transfer
    Who should I transfer in?

    1. Richards for Jones
    2. Bale for VDV
    3. O'Hara for Dyer
    4. Other options

Any advice would be most welcomed. Thanks.

      3. Dyer makes for a great sub.

U could play only 3 defenders as cleansheets would be hard. Otherwise u have a very good team.

Thinking of taking a 4 point hit to bring in 2 defenders:

    Currently:

    Enrique/Simpson/ShawX/Bos/RJ

Thinking of dropping Bos and RJ for Jags and BAE. Rest of the team looks good.

    Worth it?

Scenario - My main rival who is ahead of me by 65 points has Adebayor and I have Suarez. I have held onto Suarez for weeks hoping he would come good but I get the feeling as soon as I get rid he will score plenty.

Should I get him out for Adebayor and a 4 point hit?

1 FT, zero cash, thinking of ShawX > BAE or Drenthe > O’Hara…

    RMT

    Vorm
    Enrique, Jones, Gabbidion
    Silva, VDV, Drenthe, Walters
    RVP (c), Augero, Adebayor (vc)

Not sure whether he may have a bit longer due to protection although either way he may lose 0.1m in value.

Sorry for the re-post, got lost in the last article....

Anyone know what is happening to VDV?

I hate owning him….you never know when to captain him, he’s a constant doubt and if he doesn’t play then you’ve got 10 mill doing jack sh*t!! Then the moment you get rid he goes on a 5-6 game goal feast!
