→ The 2014/15 season was Sergio Aguero's best ever for Fantasy returns. Seven of his goals/assists and 36 of his FPL points came in two meetings with which club that year? Scout Betting

All of last season, between two clubs, two divisions and a respectable 2300 minutes of football, Yakubu managed to net only 12 times. This term, before we’ve even reached the half-way stage, “the Yak” has delivered 9 in the league, one in the cup and sits above the likes of Wayne Rooney, Emmanuel Adebayor and Mario Balotelli in the chase for the Golden Boot.

Blackburn may not have taken advantage of his resurgence in form, in terms of their league position, but we sure did, courtesy of a return on “a goal and Blackburn to win” at 5/2 in last week’s “Flutter”.

Winnings in hand, we stride through Paddy Power’s doors once again to see what prices they have to offer for another gameweek…

First up, we’re sniffing around Liverpool’s Jose Enrique at home to Queens Park Rangers. Although he’s had a three match lull in terms of Fantasy points, the Spaniard is up against a side that has been slowly drifting toward mediocrity after an explosive start to the season. Enrique to assist and score is up for grabs, but with a cleanie very much on the cards, we’ll take that and no booking at 11/10 for £5 of our stake this week.

Next up is Chris Eagles. For a bargain midfielder, he’s accrued a respectable 59 Fantasy Premier League points this campaign so far, featuring heavily in Bolton’s flip-flop form. Paddy favour Villa, even as the visitors here, offering some longer prices with a goal and assist at 14/1. We’ve seen Eagles deliver this twice before this season, so this is a worthy punt for a £1.

Nani has drifted out of many Fantasy line-ups in recent weeks, echoing United’s recent lull in attacking terms. However, the winger has still managed to impress whilst his team-mates struggle to find a goalscoring rhythm – particularly in the midweek Champions League defeat, where Nani looked a major threat. Paddy have Nani to score and perform a back-flip at 9/2 to take our quid this week; they’ve also priced up a less acrobatic goal and assist at 5/1.

Having displayed potent goalscoring potential at West Ham, Demba Ba has really come alive this year in the wake of Newcastle’s summer sales. Calm in front of goal, he nets with his head, left and right boot, and from the penalty spot, with confidence. A one pound stake at 12/1 on Ba to score twice or more against an obliging Norwich defence is well justified, given that he’s already bagged two hat-tricks this season.

Our final market of the week is “Who will score the most goals”, featuring Wayne Rooney at 10/11, Robin van Persie at 13/8 and West Brom’s Shane Long at 3/1. Most weeks we’d look to the Flying Dutchman for goals, but with Rooney’s World Cup ban lightened to lift his spirits, we’ll go with Granville’s ScoutCast heavy-hitter for the last £1 left of our tenner; more for bragging rights rather than hard cash.

Just a reminder, if you missed Thursday’s “Paddy Says”, detailing the bookies view on clean sheets, goals and anytime scorers, you can soak it up right here.

Paddy’s Money Back Specials

Paddy have a host of refund offers on show for the weekend. They start at the Stadium of Light for Martin O’Neill’s first match in charge. If O’Neill witnesses four or more goals in the match, Paddy will refund all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles. Paddy are also paying back all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the Stoke vs Totttenham clash, if Peter Crouch nets against his old club.

Down at Stamford Bridge, Paddy are risking refunds if there’s a last gasp goal. If a goal is scored in the last five minutes of the Chelsea vs City clash they will again refund all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the match.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to this betting lark and new to Paddy Power then you can take up any of these odds and offers and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

So this week has seen a lot of people looking to offload the injured Hernandez or an under performing Bendner. VDV or a midpriced midfielder have also been popular sells as people look for ways to fit in this weeks bandwagons. Time will tell if such moves are proven wise or we end up with another flop in the team. So with out further ado, these are this weeks bandwagons

    FFS Bandwagons of the week

    GW15: Ba, Jones, Nani

    Previous week: Adebayor, Bale, Baines

notable omissions: Vermaelin, Yak, Mata, Bale (most have him by now)

All in agreement for this weeks bandwagons?

I have been contemplating getting in Long for Hernandez this week but am having second thoughts as it is only a short term punt. I really I want either Welbeck or Sturridge but want to give it another week before deciding which one.

So do you guys think I will have 11 starters this week if I save a transfer?

    Westwood

    Jones, Enrique, WILKO
Silver, Eagles, B Arfa, VDV, DRENTHE
    RvP, Adebayor,

    Subs: Ward, HERNANDEZ, RANGEL

I'd say there's too much spent in defence, which leaves your midifeld a bit week. If all play, it should be ok, but any injuries or rotation could leave you struggling a bit.

Well a week where two of the front eight weren't playing could leave a Ramsey, Dyer and Moses all playing. Also, Man U conceding just one goal will ruin any defensive returns.

Try this again on the new post....

    Who to bench:

    A) Sinclair
    B) Yakubu
    C) Walters
    D) Silva
    E) Bale

Figure it is Sinclair or Walters.... Thoughts?

    Current team is:

    Begovic (Hennessey)
Enrique / Turner / Walker (Jags / Simpson)
Silva / Bale / Ramsey / Walters (Rodwell)
    RVP / Sturridge / Rooney

Can't help but feel doom & gloom about it - I've got 0.2 in the bank and was wondering which is needed most:

    A) Begovic > Vorm (assuming Sorensen will play?)
    B) Turner > Evans (Turner dropped last week, no news on his position)
    C) Take a 4pt hit to shift some absentees
    D) Leave and save points.

Help appreciated and will be reciprocated!

A.) Begovic for Krul and play him for the next 3 games and then get rid of Hennesey for Vorm. Even Schwarzer sounds good to rotate.
B.) Does not look like a good move cause Evans might not play.
C.) Maybe a Ramsey > Larsson or Sess?
D.) Leave as is. You could play Simpson instead of Turner, even Jags...very slight chance he may score.

I always feel doom and gloom when i look at my team. Sometimes i feel quite frightened to log on and see the carnage from the weekends kickabouts.

I see your midfield is identical to mine apart from Rodwell, and Ramsey.
      Oh and Bale...and Silva.

I am in first place in my country and it's doing my head.....second place guy is 1 point away and took a hit this week so 5 points away now. He's got Ba and it scares the shit out of me hahaha should I be scared?

I refuse to take a hit -4 to sell Bendtner, I got him for 4 games and this is his last. Has not delivered but still 75% chance he plays against Blackburn and he has to score or else he is really shit, is he? He scores for Sweden! What the hell is wrong with him! I have Gower as my first sub just in case. My guess is that that's what subs are for and my bench is expensive so why take a hit....

I'm also so scared that Tottenham might not score @ Stoke. Spurs are on fire but still Stoke are a good team with no Europe mid-week and could get away with a CL....you think?

    Team for this gameweek:

    Vorm
    Jones, Enrique, Brown
    VDV, Silva, Sessegnon, Walters
    RVP (C), Adebayor (VC), Bendtner

(Gower, BAE, Shawcross / Al Habsi)

    Any suggestions?

Your name doesn't sound very...Ecuadorian - did you move there?

I think team is fine for this week, a lot of reliance on Sunderland and on the Spurs/Stoke game which I would be concerned about. I would suggest saving the free transfers and look to get Ba in for Bendtner and possibly transfer out Sess / Walters next week for a mid price midfielder.

Yeah I got 3 Sunderland players for their nice 4 game run and it never happened it actually backfired. Bendtner's and Sess's sell by date is next game week and I am planning on doing a Bendtner > Fletcher and Sess > Mata.

    RVP(c) Ba(v) Ade

Think it will take a bit more time. I think they lack a natural leader in there back 4 and O'Neil can't fix that till the next transfer window. Brown himself is error prone and it wouldn't surprise me if he was directly responsible for blackburns goal(s).

Yep, Brown for me. I have him on my bench but playing Turner, if fit, for the goal threat! It'd be nice to have the option of 6 defenders. 3 at home one week and then the next 3 come in. The 4:1 makes it difficult.
