No. But just to bring some sunshine to your Monday morning, I thought I'd update you as to my mini-league. It's updated (the baps obviously hadn't updated earlier when I told you) and the gap has gone from 86 to 10. Goody good. 😛

    Best Dyer replacement?

    1) Gower
    2) Allen
    3) Moses
    4) Brad Johnson

Already got 2 Swansea in Naylor and Vorm
    Can afford up to 4.9.

He's a long way from rising; he's one of those players that the casuals don't notice because while consistently scoring he's never really going to get into the team of the week. Solid rotation option; his price is particularly important with many of the big hitting midfielders coming into form and fixtures.

Just spotted the ulitimtae differential? Anyone see the Everton game at the weekend/ Conor McAleny came off the bench and nearly scored a cracker on his debut. He's owned by 0% and could get some game time with Everton's nice fixtures and serious lack of goalscorers?

I dunno, I won't be doing it but it seems that the people who really benefit get the big players in immediately when they start scoring big, i.e- it might not be bad to swap him for rooney now. I am reluctant to do it coz i fear the bandwagon but I could be higher placed if I had gotten Bale in for example, or gotten RVP earlier than I did

    RANT

I think I have caught Granville's Disease 🙁 . Since my WC in GW12 I have had a keeper pairing of Foster and Vorm and yet I've missed out on two penalty saves.

GW13 - Played Vorm who had AVL and he got 6 points. Foster saved a penalty in his game against TOT and got 8 points.

GW15 - Played Foster who had WIG and got 1 point. I opted to rest Vorm in his game against FUL, as I have Naylor and didn't fancy the double up, and he saves a penalty and bags 12 points. Only consolation for me is that he was absolutely robbed in the BPs allocation due to the sh1t PPI system.

    I'm a bit miffed 😉

    So couple of questions this morning;
    a) Is Drenthe still alive? Is it injury or is he just out of favour?
    b) Why did that tw*t Adebeyor take the penalty on Sun, while VdV was on the pitch? Has he got spot kicks now? One of the reasons i kept VdV over Bale was because i thought he had pennas...(made even worse as rival has Adebeyor)

      a) Don't think so

      b) It's possible VDV didn't want to aggravate his injury so let Adebayor take penalties. Unfortunately we probably won't know for definite until the next one.

      a) Don't know. Get rid.
      b) Looks like Adebayor is no.1 choice now as far as I can see. Has there been any other reasons presented?

Some have said that he may have been feeling his hammy.
But, surely if he had been, he wouldn't have played close to the full 90, right?

          Exactly right in my view.

The injury thing seems like clutching at straws. I reckon Ade has been banging them in in training.

Yep, and with VDV being a rotation risk (possibly) and always injured, maybe they want their penalty taker to pretty much be assured to be on the field ?
Maybe 'Arry is doing it as a bribe in hope that he signs on permanently.

    Re: Vorm's penalty.

I was watching Soccer Saturday and heard the shout for a penalty. Once I knew it was against Swansea I just knew that Vorm was going to save it. The guy is a machine. I'd already totalled the points I was going to get before it was even taken.

I think we only needed one game to get back to scoring form, can see Nani getting a goal and an assist in the next 2 games, but can see Mata getting the same....I guess it'd be better to get Nani as I wouldn't have to waste a transfer getting him in GW18...then again VDV could get a goal and an assist vs Sunderland but he might not even play depending on their game on Thursday ARGHHHH!

I think it's time to be prepared to rotate 1 forward every week. By this I mean I m gonna keep RVP and BA for the next 3-4 weeks and in the meantime I m gonna transfer in a fwd that seems to be tha best bet for each one of these weeks. I had Rooney this GW, I will do Rooney -> Adebayor (SUN), Then Ade-> Aguero(STO), Then again Aguero-> Rooney (WIG). Even if I have to make another transfer and take a hit, I could absorb it by captaining the fwd that I brought in.
So it's Rooney (qpr ful) or Adeybayor(SUN),Aguero(STO) -8. What do you think?

was thinking the same, but buying whoever is playing the bottom teams. Stoke & Sunderland are not too bad defensively, compared to wigan, bolton, blackburn, etc.

If you have Rooney now KEEP HIM!!! He scores in streaks, he'll do well over the next few GW's

That's just insane. I can't even see any reason for it either. It's not like Vorm conceded one.

A save for a goalkeeper seems to be like a shot off target for a striker...ridiculous!

Harumph, harumph, harumph. I get Van Persie's +1 (x2 for captain) and nothing for Vorm or Adebayor; Head 2 head rival gets 11 and Sinclair's other points to come off the bench. Boo, I say. Boo. Aguero to bang two in tonight please, Karma.

I don't usually mind this BP system but Szczesny!? He made one save all game! Vorm saved a penalty, made some saves, got a clean sheet in a 1-0 win and nothing!? How does that happen...
