While some of us have already begun tinkering with the winter wildcards, there are five games taking place today as double gameweek 20 gets underway.

The big news is that Daniel Sturridge is not in the Chelsea squad- those overnight reports of a leg injury appear to have been true, then.

Here’s the line-ups of this afternoon’s four fixtures before Arsenal make their way to the Cottage this evening:

I'm cheering on rvp for a 2 pointer even though I own him! 😯 , due to the drones of magers who have captained him overall as well as in my mini league, this game is all about captaincy.

  I know it's been said before, but I'm sticking with vorm and a cheap non playing keeper. Avoids the rotation question which I seemed to get wrong *every* week in GWs 1-10

  Waiting. The transfer window might throw up a few bargains to take advantage of so that'd outweigh any profit i'd make from tinkering my team for 2 weeks. Main reason though is my team looks strong enough right now so tisn't needed.

  You're missing a midfielder. Ferguson? Hilario shouldn't be in the team no matter how cheap he is. You can get a cheaper striker instead of Kun and use the money to improve the rest of the team.

  I think Kun is a great shout for Man City from GW24 onwards, when their fixtures are great for a while. But until then, if it means having Dyer + Ferg in your mid, I'd defo reshuffle that WC.

      If you use it now you can make unlimited transfers for free up to the next deadline. Transfers will come into effect for GW21.

        4 Feb is the transfer deadline for GW24.

      I interpret that as 4 Feb 11:30 being the last time you can make unlimited transfers with wildcard; you won't be able to activate it once the window closes i.e. not for gw 24

Any news on sturridge?
I was thinking to save a tranny but could also do;
sturridge => yakubu
allen => moses
wilkinson => some cheapo

I can take one price fall on sturridge, but him being injured and wc available for almost two weeks, who know maybe even 0,3 price fall and same time yakubu coming up - worth it?
Should prob wait at least until gw is over.....:-(

Thinking of Sturridge to Yakubu. Bought Sturridge at 6.6 but he will start dropping tonight and Yak is on the rise. Haven't hit the WC yet and might not but if injuries mount over the fortnight I can hit it later. Would you swap Sturridge out for the Yak?
