With just Everton’s trip to White Hart Lane left to be played in the gameweek, it’s time for our members to soak up our pick of the stats from the action so far, along with our punt on how the Fantasy Premier League bonus will pan out…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Yes, but only a tiny minority of the 2 point whatever million registered take it seriously.

Worth reminding yourself from time to time.

Fill in the blank for me please.

5.0 to spend on a midfilder.
    Maybe Moses?

    Vorm - Ruddy
    Kelly S - Enrique - Jones - Caulker - Simpson
    ??? - Cabaye - Walters - Silva - Bale
Sturridge - Van Persie - Aguero

or should I stick with my double Sunderland midfield:

    McClean - Sessegnon - Walters - Silva - Bale

    ___________Krul___________

    ___Jones___ BAE___ Enrique___
    Nani__ Bale__ Drenthe__ Barfa
    __Rooney(c)__ RVP__ Ade__

    Subs: Gower, Shotton, Wilko, Westwood

    0.1 in the bank

I really need to sort out my midfield so one of Drenthe, Gower or Barfa needs to go. Who should go first (I am thinking Drenthe) and who should I get (Vaughn?, Mclean, Norwich mid?). I would prefer to not take a hit as it won't be worth it before I WC in GW24. Advice would be much appreciated, thanks 🙂

I would say Brunt if he was fit, and Cabaye is not worth a punt now that Ba is gone imo. I'd be tempted to save the transfer, who knows Drenthe might play and if not you'll get in an OOP player which isn't the worst thing..

Rooney isn't performing to justify a price of 9 let alone 12 and your midfield is stuffed because of him there, and the replacements don't look good as regular starters.
      That's my thoughts anyways.

Yep true, but their fixtures stiffen up after this one, so would make more sense to get rid then.

6m if I sell Drenthe. 4.6 if I sell Gower. 5.5 if I sell B Arfa. I am thinking Pilkington could get a good run and replace surman due to his goal and liveliness in the last game.

Don't like that bench at all. Not enough city cover either.

HBA is prolly going to get game time now with Newcastle losing two from the first team.

And judging by his role/effect tonight Rooney captain is more than bold, could get lucky I suppose, but I'd not risk it...

Wasn't he signed 6 months ago by Newcastle? Wouldn't the 3 clubs a year rule prevent that one? Surely with the ACN and injury risks nobody would go for him in the summer anyway? Nailed on in the summer if not though

at what point do transfer fees become irrelevant? if its a billionaires and not the clubs money, then the amount paid affects no one

although an investment of £500,000 for Torres would have been over-spending with how he's played

After the rise I can still do Walters ➡ Sessegnon in a straight swap. Too much sideways?

Could do with some ideas for this lot (dont see I need the WC just yet):

    Vorm, Ruddy
    Jones, BAE, Hibbert, Simpson, Caulker
    Silva, Nani, Bale, Walters, Drenthe
    RVP, Adebayor, Sturridge

    0.4M, 1 FT

I'd save the transfer and play Walters, Gaz. Liverpool have conceded in 8 out of 10 home games this year, a terrible record. Wouldn't surprise me at all were Crouch to do something at one of his former clubs.

      cheers

now that you mention it, a transfer roll-over sounds good. ive got a solid team for gw 21.

Vorm (ARS); Jones (BOL), Ekotto (WOL), Simpson (QPR)
Silva (wig), Nani (BOL), Bale (WOL), Walters (liv)
RVP (swa), Sturridge (SUN), Adebayor (WOL)

RVP (swa) and Sturridge (SUN) is the biggest concerns I guess, with Swansea home form and Martin ONeill induced Black Cats.

because surely Nani and Jones can do something at home to Bolton?

I dont think either of us misunderstand. We know they can call up players 14 days beforehand. The question is whether clubs have come to arrangements with national teams that would allow players to stay in prem. a little later.

So, 51 points this week with Robin as captain (i should have put Bale, this sucks)

Who for Ba?. 0.6 in bank. I have money enough to bring Sturridge, is that a good idea?

    Vorm

    Jones, Caulker, Kompany, Vermaelen, Shotton

    Nani, Bale, Silva, Walters, Allen

    Morison Ba Robin

    So:

    Sturridge in, Ba out
Van der vaart in, Nani out

    ?

My roommate. I admire him. No RVP, Kun and Rooney whole season and he beats me

He's had Ba quite early on. Just shows what a massive season Ba's had and he's punching his weight with the traditional big hitters. My biggest mistake is not jumping on the Ba-ndwagon 🙁
