Roberto Mancini welcomes back Micah Richards and Mario Balotelli for City, while Ledley King could make a surprise return for opponents Tottenham. Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are back for United, though Mikel Arteta is ruled out for Arsenal ahead of Sunday’s showdown.

Wes Brown and Titus Bramble could return for Sunderland. David Moyes is without a host of first-team players. There’s better news for Mick McCarthy who welcomes back Roger Johnson, Kevin Foley, David Edwards and Matt Jarvis.

    So, apparently Walters is statistically rubbish.. although his FPL record at home is pretty good.

    My (c) is on Walters currently.. move it to Bent?

    Unconventional choices I know.. but I think this week is a week to take a punt on the captain choice.

      As you say, Walters record at home is great so edges out Bent. Surely you have another option that is better than both though.. RVP/Rooney?

        RvP at home to Utd is still a possibility.. but I'm guessing that it won't be a goal fest. Utd will be err on the better side of caution at this stage imo.

        I see this gw as a oppurtunity to climb substantially in my mini league, if I get my alternate captain choice right.

            Yeah, completely forgot about that. I could go with Nani (considering Arsenal's stop gap full backs). But don't see RvP tearing it up against Utd so wavering on that option.
