In this week’s “Versus” article for members, we take a look at both players’ displays over the last four Gameweeks, analysing their Opta and ICT Index stats, in addition to their overall Fantasy Premier League (FPL) output, to weigh up the pros and cons of their respective acquisitions.

    Is it not a bit pointless playing ET in this scenario (before Bellamy scored)? If Man City have the upper hand on away goals after 90 mins why play ET? If there are no goals in ET City win on away goals so why does that not merit going through after 90?

    It's a bit like playing on to see if the other team can score to go through instead.

      They want a 'proper' result so they make it go as long as poss before using the away goals rule. But it should really go to pens I have never understood the away goal counting more than the home goal it is absolute bollox.

    I find it quite amusing that Man City have shipped two very good strikers to Liverpool and Spurs respectively as if selling players to rivals is not an issue. During Spurs' shortlived title charge there for the last few weeks 😉 loaning DAD to Spurs looked a very odd decision and now Bellamy is sticking them out of the cup 😀

    What an idiotic move from their top brass. Can they sell us Aguero please?

    Aguero has done very little here so far. I'm finding it hard to justify 11.1 for him. I'm seriously considering foregoing City strikers altogether and having Silva, Kompany and Richards.
