Racism in football has been rampant for years. They're finally attempting to stamp it out and the fact is what Suarez said, even if it's what he calls all his best buddies at home, was not okay. I do think it's spiralled out of control into some major drama etc but I wouldn't say that he can just ignore something like that.

Liverpool poor today, second half just didnt compete perhaps due to tunnel incident?
The initial handshake incident was not tasteful - disappointing wi Suarez, but Evra only made a play to shake it after Suarez passed because of the camera - he is even starring into the camera! Rio refusing to shake, well not surprised but the whole thing could have been avoided as was the case QPR v Chelsea.
Man Utd were not great but deserved the win - was there in need for Evra to behave the way he did at HT and at the end?? Running into corner swinging arms in front of Suarez was always going to spark a reaction.
That said Sky also focuses massive on what was minor incidents - the facts were the game was played in good spirit no real bad tackles and the press will focus on the negatives!

Unfortunately this entire handshake thing really became the focal point of all the match talks etc. It was a really good game of football, enjoyed that thoroughly. Some great play from both teams. Yes Evra and Suarez don't get on, it's done now. Great game of ball.
