With yesterday’s results overshadowed by the now infamous non-handshake at Old Trafford, the Dugout Discussion opens today for what will hopefully be a controversy-free day of football. Having been displaced at the summit of the Premier League, Manchester City travel to Aston Villa where a draw will see them climb back to the top. Before that we have a Black Country derby to enjoy, as Wolves aim to drag their rivals West Brom in to the relegation scrap, and the Baggies try to increase their breathing space from it. The team news is in…

Wolves XI: Hennessey, Foley, Johnson, Bassong, Ward, Doyle, Edwards, O’Hara, Jarvis, Ebanks-Blake, Fletcher.

West Brom XI: Foster, Reid, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Odemwingie, Morrison, Scharner, Mulumbu, Thomas, Fortune.

Mick McCarthy names an attacking side which features a trio of strikers in Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Kevin Doyle and Steven Fletcher. For the visitor’s, Liam Ridgewell makes his debut for West Brom at the expense of Nicky Shorey, and Paul Scharner starts ahead of Graeme Dorrans.

You can follow all the action as it happens in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

Worst GW in so so long. So many random 'big hauls' from players who have failed for weeks in a row (Adebayor, Saha, Odemwingie etc.). Getting so fed up of Aguero - EVERY time he fails and I am about to sell him, he gets a penalty and I change my mind. Then he fails again.

Also, anyone thinking of shipping out Swansea players? No longer getting cleanies. I'm keeping Siggy but doing Vorm -> Mignolet and Caulker -> Bardsley/Brown in the coming weeks.

    Definitely getting Saha/Ade after GW32.

    Guys, need some advice:

Do I: Sell Shawcross (home to Swansea) for Lescott (home to B'burn)

    OR

Sell Valencia (away to Norwich) for Toure (home to B'burn)...or do this a week after ?

Would like to hear your thoughts =o)

    1. It's only 50 mins in.
    2. Aguero rarely performs away from home and city don't score many away.
