        yeahh it could. i just dont know if i think drenthe could outscore siggy by 4 though.... siggy does have city though. hmmmm. but for drenthe spurs and pool aren't the greatest fixtures followed by arsenal the next week and then swansea away.... thats the problem with him

My team looks a right state;

I have about 4 players i want to ship out; Kelly, Taiwo, Sess, Walters, Santon and maybe Richards!!

Also wanted Rooney in for Aguerro but that is going to have to wait!!

Things were going so well until this mess!

Thinking the defense is where work is needed with Evans coming in for sure and possibly aonther depending on news on Richards. Sess is also out this week, walters will have to start and i will just start Sigg.

Guys in light of the Kompany injury I feel a 4 point hit is necessary to avoid having to play Simpson at Arsenal. Already made my 2 FT this week but have now got injuries/suspension to Kompany, Kelly and Sessegnon.

What looks best:

A) Kompany – Enrique
B) Kompany – Johnson
C) Simpson – Hibbert

Both A and B would involve doubling up, as already have Skrtel.

  I'm in the same boat with Kompany and Kelly both being out this week and doubts for next week.
  
  Simpson will probably get 1 point max (could easily be worse) so you'd only need around 5 points from your replacement to break even/make a small gain.
  
  I like the look of A if Johnson is confirmed fit and you think he'll play both games since he carries this biggest attacking threat.
  
  The problem is that next week Kelly (if fit) and Simpson look totally playable so it's only necessary for this week and you will eventually have to use a transfer to get rid of one of your 'pool defenders.
  
  Let me know what you're thinking since I'm pondering doing A too and have a similar back-line by the looks of it.

    Cheers for the link - yeah I brought in Skrtel for Huth earlier in the week so back-line reads Kompany, Skrtel, Evans, Simpson, Kelly.
    
    Hadn't realised that Kelly was nearing fitness so that's a bonus. It's just Johnson's yellow flag that's bothering me. I'm definitely leaning more towards Kompany - Enrique I think. The funds may come in handy anyway as could swap Skrtel back to Kompany in a few weeks and still have money to upgrade Ba to Adebayor.

Morning all

Need a bit of help deciding for this week what to do...

Have Kompany, Valencia and Sess all out so thinking I need to get one out in order to get at least one useful sub in case of problems:

Current plan was Aguero > Suarez and Caulker > Jose Enrique,

So my team for this week would be:

Kenny
J Evans, Simpson Jose Enrique BAE
Moses Silva Bale
Suarez RVP Ba

Mignolet Valencia, Sess, Kompany

Should I:

A) Do those two transfers and go with the team above
B) Take out Sess for someone - (thoughts being Ox, Pilkington or McLean)
C) Take out one of the other two?

My main concern with this WC team is the two cheap midfielders don't rotate.

Schwarzer, Bogdan
Skrtel, Enrique, Evans, Kelly, McCauley
Bale, Walcott, Dempsey, Siggy, McClean
RVP, Rooney, Suarez
0.0 in bank

Would you include Dempsey in the rotation mix and bench him when Fulham are away?

Or re-jig the team so the cheap midfielders rotate?

    You have to take into account the point the players coming in from your bench would score. Looking at your team it's unlikely to be more than 2 points this week but next week it could be more.

  Well until he got injured there was no problem having Kompany. Injuries happen at any time, granted it's more likely for an outfield player, but Hart is not immune to that problem.

  I tend to agree. If you take 50% of the points of the best rotation keepers (e.g. Vorm and Krul), you would have 111 points. Hart has 10 more than that.
  
  Of course Hart + cheapie (Moreira) would still cost more, but you don't have to worry about the fixtures and rotation then

      I guess you could come up with whatever formula you want, but would take too long to work out. And Swans have done well on the road recently. For me the issue would be more that Hart+Cheapie is going to cost £1.5-2.0 more

  I missed points when Kompany got banned. It convinced me to do the change as Hart picked up two cleanies from memory. Take last week, Kompany was flavour of the month as Richards missed two games, now Kompany is out and Richards is nailed with Zabaleta being injured. Just too much of a headache. And Hart's save points helop cancel out any attacking bonus from the other two...
  
  The only prob is difference in starting prices, 7.0m for Hart as compared to 6.0m for Kompany. The value was clearly in Kompany's favour. But buying in at today's value it's a no brainer IMO.

Was about to do Rangel > Enrique but Kompany injury is making me think about it now. Although I wouldn't be playing him next GW anyway and I got Kompany for 6.6 and to buy him back at the moment is 6.8, although he may drop.

What should I do?

    i'm doing Aguero > Suarez. Mainly because I had Aguero as C & Silva VC and neither played some I'm taking my anger out on Aguero...get out!!

    yeah, well you know.. Suarez has not been performing, that's true, but the dgw tempts me.
    
    other option is: the yak out, bellamy in, but i don't know about that either. Bellamy has to get the minutes, but somehow I don't believe he'll play enough.
    
    So maybe another pool midfielder along with adam, Who that is, Henderson?
