    Scoutcast. Marks idea. Instead of the winter WC we have 5 free transfers which we can use at any point in the season. Good idea i think.

    I think 1 WC to be played at any time, and 2 lots of 4 transfer weeks in case of injury emergencies etc

  I think that if a goal is 4 pts, then it should be 4 pts for all - Just as Assists are 3 points for all. I also like the recovered balls scoring on UCL fantasy. Bonus back to last years format, and like the Champions league - you should be able to play with 2 defenders. Lastly Scratch vice captain or make it so if VC is used - you only get 1.5 of their points rounded down.

      Also, the Fulham match is over a week after that again, giving Rooney enough rest after the Wolves game. See no reason for him being rested on Sunday.

    Fair comment, Young's emerging return to his early season form is too hard to ignore though especially alongside Roo's own run at the minute. Pog is a keeper so would consider shipping Demp, not sure how Mata will respond with Di Matteo at the helm. I'm thinking Lumpard is looking to be a very good differential...

I want to bring in Prog & Barfa for Adam & Holt. Wise moves?

I aleady have dempsey, so am a bit wary of fulham being up against a tough swansea side, and then have a trip to OT next weekend.

Any other suggestions? All I know for definite is that I am getting rid of Adam and Holt!

  Keep Barfa, lose Dempsey since you are getting Pog. I think Fulham will struggle to get the ball with their attacking line ups, since Swansea hog the ball.

    Thinking about it yeah. Pardew spoke very highly of him last weekend and I think he'll start getting more gametime, I really rate him so I think he'll become undroppable soon.
    
    Plus there's nothing else jumping out at me to be honest. I just want rid of Adam.
    
    No way am I selling Dempsey though.

    I'd happily play Micah this week - got him and Skrtel on the bench. Defensive strategy just became more interesting!
    
    But by doing that move, I lose a rotation risk and build up capital to do Ba to Adebayor.*
    
    *I don't really want him - it just stops rival owners' potential point swings

I need to replace Silva but I'm not overly convinced by any of these midfield prospects

Mata
Walcott
United midfield
Gerard/Lampard

Like most here I already have Bale and Dempsey so the alternatives are the 3 I mentioned. Mata has been fairly quiet all year and hasn't particularly convinced. He may get the odd big score but there is always series of 2's and 3's. However if Chelsea have turned a corner then he might be a viable option.

Walcott has spells too where he does nothing and then spells where he looks really good. Of late he has looked quite impressive particularly at home. Is he the sort of player that can maintain that though? I've always thought of him as a little bit average. Is it worth having two arsenal players as well

The United midfield is very unpredictable. Young just played 90 mins so even he might be a doubt for this weekend despite his form. I'd say its too soon to make a decision here.

Finally the old firm of Gerard and Lampard may have the sort of explosive returns we are looking for. How fit are they? will they be rotated? I'd say there is too much uncertainty here as well
