There may only be two matches in the Premier League today but with Clint Dempsey carrying the armband for thousands of Fantasy managers, there’s still plenty of interest. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to soak up the reaction from today’s two games at Fulham and Wigan.

The Cottagers take on Swansea with skipper Danny Murphy dropping to the bench, presumably as a result of the facial injury picked up in the first half at Villa last time out. Mahamadou Diarra comes into the Fulham engine room. Elsewhere, Martin Jol recalls Bryan Ruiz to the right flank, with Damien Duff dropping to the bench.

The big news for the visitors concerns Ashley Williams, who loses his ever present record for Swansea – dropping out with a virus. Gary Monk takes his place and skippers the visitors.

At the DW Stadium, Roberto Martinez brings Shaun Maloney into his starting XI after his smart assist for Victor Moses’ goal at Carrow Road on Sunday. Jordi Gomez drops to the bench. Wigan are without Hugo Rodallega, however, his knock sustained at Norwich rules him out. Franco Di Santo starts.

There’s five changes from Roy Hodgson – surprisingly Differential pick Marc-Antoinne Fortune drops to the bench with Shane Long drafted in up front. The likes of Peter Odemwingie and Keith Andrews miss out through injury, while Jonas Olsson is banned. Nicky Shorey, Paul Scharner and Jerome Thomas all make returns to the starting lineup.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

          No you cant, left a lot of Vorm CS on bench early in season so it is annoying again. Maybe doing Krul--->Bogdan to raise cash elsewhere.

            I benched him when he got 10 points away to the Pool. He's very hard to predict. Still, all is not lost! We could still get a pen save and cleanie out of Krul... 😉

              I benched him that week too, early on in season vs Wigan, Sunderland and Stoke too. That would be very nice if that happens

    that's annoying that Graham doesn't get involved when Swansea are on a good run, the choice to invest in the Swans attack was correct but brings no ruturns as the wrong horse has been picked

      Yeh ive had a gutfull of him.. Still got him aswell, c if he will finaly do sumthn this wk... He has done jack for ages and at his price its annoying watchn him when your seeing mids half his price performing much more consistantly... May switch to Walcott or sumhn.

    ok - the issue of keeper rotation. not really been my friend this season - i've played the percentages and gone with the keeper most likely to keep a clean sheet, often ignoring form. been burned by Given, Mignolet, Schwarzer all picking up several clean sheets whilst on my bench.

    for the last few weeks of the season, is it just as well getting in someone like de Gea / Hart / Cech / Sczezeny as a keeper to play every week?

    I need to get Rooney in, that much is clear. Also could lose one of the fulham lads, but I don't want to ditch Suarez while he is home to Wigan and equally, can't afford to keep Rooney out any longer, especially with inevitable price rises. Any thoughts of how I could improve?

      Realistically without taking a silly amount of hits Suarez will need to come out if you want Rooney in. If you do Pog > Rooney you are £6m short which means losing Silva & Dempsey most likely as Bale & Young should stay and trying to find cheaper alternatives.

      You could do

      Dempsey > Siggy
      Silva > Yaya
      Pog > Rooney

        True, not bad idea as Yaya can play home and away, against good and weak opponents whereas players like Aguero and Silva are infuriating!! Just not sure if I can take another 8 point hit, that would be 20 point hit in last 3 weeks!

    Swansea are working wonders for me this season.. Vorm all year, had caulker for the last month and siggy last 2 weeks! 😀

      I took a 4 pointer today and brought in Evans and Schwarzer leaving Caulker and Vorm on the bench. Caulker will get the 2 bonus points no doubt. It's either 90 mins or nothing for nani either way i don't mind as long as he doesn't get 10 or 15 mins
