With the Aston Villa and Bolton fixture understandably postponed, we’re at Ewood Park tonight as Gameweek 29 soldiers on. It’s relegation-threatened Blackburn at home to the recently relentless Sunderland. Fantasy managers are likely to have modest interest – with Yakubu and James McClean the most likely hopefuls on show. Nevertheless, our Dugout Discussion chatroom has opened up to catch your reactions as the match progresses.

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Lowe, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson, Nzonzi, Pedersen, Formica, Hoilett, Marcus Olsson, Yakubu.

Sunderland XI: Mignolet, Bardsley, Kyrgiakos, Turner, Bridge, Larsson, Gardner, Vaughan, McClean, Bendtner, Campbell.

The team news finds Kean resisting the temptation to tinker, despite the availability of David Dunn, Gael Givet and Bradley Orr. It’s an unchanged lineup from the one that saw off Wolves at Molineux last time out then.

As for the visitors, they’re without skipper John O’Shea, presumably through injury or illness, so Sotirios Kyrgiakos comes into the back four for his Black Cats debut. Elsewhere, Martin O’Neill brings in David Vaughan for Jack Colback.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

If McClean was playing for Blackburn tonight, they would have beaten Sunderland 6-0. Fact.

as said above if Sunderland could hit a barn door (or if I'd stuck by my original plan to play Caulker over Santon I'd have beaten you) But such is life. Still reckon I will get through, though I could easily do a United, but I think I'll beat Dudu and if you beat Rebeldogg that should see me through.

TBH am more bothered by the Yak goal, as it means my ML rival will probably close the gap a little, I'd rather win that, there's cash in it.

TBF we stood by Mick for far too long. The mistake was doing it too late and not having anyone lined up to replace him.

The Blackburn board stood by him, the rest of blackburn wanted him out, yes the ones in the stands tonight smiling and clapping, they don't deserve him.

Well the season is still not over. I might overtake you, still time nah? I am always best in the finish of the season. Christmas isn't my fantasy period 😉

P.S. I like your style, but lads like you make the green arrow more obvious when Roonster scores a brace 🙂

anyone think enrique, walcott, bale and rvp can deliver the goods for me this week? currently on 38 had roo as captain too. not brilliant. (26 swansea points on the bench too!)

its far better than average yes. but its not good by any means. everyone is rubbish. in a week when i could have clawed back respectable scores if i had kept faith with swansea.

So, it looks like the caller on Talkshite may have be right....Venkys DO know what they are doing. Have stuck by Kean and they are now coming good. Unlike, say, Wolves?

The way Wolves have imploded, that has to be the worst managerial decision in history.

      and QPR, as said above

I suppose QPR one made sense, but for Wolves to do it without somebody already lined up was mental!

6 points if all play 60+ without a card, so a Spurs cleanie or a assist and bap from a midfielder will do you.
