A pivotal Premier League game kicks off Gameweek 30, with Champions League qualification on the line. The Dugout Discussion opens as 5th placed Chelsea host 4th placed Tottenham. A rare win for the visitors today (no win at Stamford Bridge since 1990) would not only stop the rot, but also go a long way to sealing their berth in Europe’s elite competition. The team sheets from Stamford Bridge are in, and are as follows…

Chelsea XI: Cech, Bosingwa, Cahill, Terry, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Sturridge, Drogba.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, Gallas, Assou-Ekotto, Modric, Parker, Sandro, Bale, Van der Vaart, Adebayor.

A host of changes for Chelsea sees Branislav Ivanovic, David Luiz, Raul Meireles and Fernando Torres all dropped to the bench. In come Jose Bosingwa, captain John Terry, Daniel Sturridge and Didier Drogba.

Harry Redknapp is boosted by the return of Emmanuel Adebayor, who starts with Rafael Van der Vaart at the expense of Louis Saha. Elsewhere, William Gallas and Sandro replace Ledley King (not in squad) and Niko Kranjcar.

Following that we’ve got another seven games to pour over, finishing at the Britannia Stadium where Manchester City will be looking to go back to the summit of the league, if only for one night.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom will stay open throughout the day, and can be accessed right here.

Anyone got news on the injury sustained by Koscienly today during the warm-up? Looks bad or just a niggle?

    Right - here's the situation.
City struggling 0-0 with half an hour left, on comes Tevez.
He scores a goal and sets up another, leading them to victory.
Mancini says he will start next game.
    Will you get him in?

Well two of them will start each week, and considering Dzeko is firmly out of favour (alright he's starting today - but Aguero's injured, Tevez is fat and Stoke are tall) and Balotelli is bang off form, I can see him starting most games if he hits form.
Mancini will want one thing and one thing only and thats to win the league

    Outside the Shankly Gates
    I heard a Kopite calling
Shankly, they have taken you away
But you left a great eleven
    Before you went to heaven
Now it's glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
    Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

    Outside the Paisley Gates
    I heard a Kopite calling
Paisley, they have taken you away
But you led the great eleven
    Back in Rome in 77
And the Redmen they're still playing the same way

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
    Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

    Beside the Hillsborough flame
    I heard a Kopite mourning
Why so many taken on that day?
    Justice has never been done
But their memory will carry on
There'll be glory round the Fields of Anfield Road.

All round the fields of Anfield Road

You'll finish mid table and Kenny will agree to 'move on' basically a face saving term for getting fired so liverpool fans can continue to bleat on about him being 'King' and 'God' even though he's spent 114m on turkeys. This will be followed by Benitez getting rehired followed by endless repetition of YNWA and next year we'll win the league etc etc etc.

contemplating on whether to bring in Walcott or Verm for qpr(A)?

Verm offered his fair share of attacking threat just now.

I will asses Young on Monday before deciding on Theo.

Both good options. QPR seem to be able to muster a goal in each game so maybe Walcott is the better option.

Missed the target a lot I'm afraid, many suggest that reduces chance of bonus significantly. On a side note, I was really disappointed with him (1st time I've watched a Spurs game in a while) - he played like he was trying to be Ronaldo!

Bale has no chance to get BPS imo... I think :

      Cahill 3
      Kaboul 2
and 1 for Lampard or Cole or other...

I was going to leave my team and wait to have 2FT. With Holt suspended and Caulker unable to play @ Spurs should I look into making a change? Could take a 4 point hit and downgrade Skrtingboard and upgrade Holt?

Or leave it alone and just string an Xl together?
