A pivotal day of Premier League football sees both Manchester clubs involved, as the race for the title heats up. Justifying the “Super Sunday” billing, the Dugout Discussion opens for the opener at Old Trafford, where United are in a prime position to pile the pressure on City. They themselves visit the Emirates later this afternoon, facing an in form Arsenal.

The team sheets for the Manchester United – Queens Park Rangers game are in, and the sides line-up as follows…

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Young, Rooney, Welbeck.

QPR XI: Kenny, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Taiwo, Diakite, Derry, Mackie, Taarabt, Buzsaky, Bothroyd.

Two changes for the champions then, with Ashley Young and Danny Welbeck replacing Phil Jones and Javier Hernandez from the side that were victorious at Blackburn.

Somewhat surprisingly, Bobby Zamora is dropped to the substitutes bench for visitors, with Jay Bothroyd replacing him. Meanwhile, Joey Barton isn’t risked, with the midfielder one yellow card away from a two-match suspension.

Follow the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

How do fans tolerate this non use of video replay to get the scoring plays accurate. This EPL is tarnished, this game today is ruined, with QPR down a man unjustly. It happens every other week imo.

they really should introduce replays to the decisions in the game.

those offside goals and dive, and balls which crossed the line and doesn't count as a goal

Replays for offsides isn't possible, some are just too close to call. The ones we've seen this weekend have been routine offsides that Linesmen should be able to call all day long.

the relegation threatened teams have been royally screwed this weekend.wigan undone by 2 offiside goals and now QPR have a man sent off for fouling someone who was clearly oiffside. its not good enough and game is ruined now . also Rooney should have been booked for another of his trademark scissors kicks.
