With five Premier League matches from Gameweek 34 to be decided today, our Dugout Discussion chatroom has opened up to catch the reactions as the action unfolds. Click here to get involved as we take you right up to this evening’s clash at Craven Cottage.

The team news is in from the three o’clock kick-offs and, as expected, rotation has taken a bite out of our squads. While Gareth Bale is fit to start for Spurs, Harry Redknapp has rung the changes with the weekend FA Cup semi-final in mind. The likes of Scott Parker and Sandro make way in midfield but, more significantly, Emmanuel Adebayor and Rafael Van der Vaart are both rested as Jermain Defoe and Louis Saha both earn starts.

Everton are also involved in a semi-final next weekend and they too have put out a much-changed lineup. Those who dipped into the transfer market for in-from Nikaca Jelavic get an immediate disappointment of seeing him rested to the bench. Surprisingly, Moyes also rests the ever present Leighton Baines as a makeshift Toffees lineup takes to the field against Sunderland. They themselves make just one change – David Vaughan comes in for back injury victim Nicklas Bendtner, with Stephane Sessegnon shifting up front.

Elsewhere, Fabricio Coloccini returns ahead of schedule to bolster the Newcastle back four as they take on Bolton. Alan Pardew resists the opportunity to tinker with Demba Ba, Papiss Cisse and Hatem Ben Arfa again unleashed in a 4-3-3 – James Perch moves into midfield to replace the injured Cheick Tiote.

Our Fantasy bench players are likely to come into play then – with more teamsheet surprises likely to be on the way in the remaining matches. Lament your misfortune and vent your frustration in today’s Dugout Discussion chat.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    How does this sound for a plan

    GW 34
    ryo---->sess(short term)
    Shotton---->caulker (long term) -4 but gives me 11 for the week

    GW 35
    sess---->bolton mid

      If Newcastle get 6 points from there next 2 it puts alot of pressure on Chelsea with an already packed schedule with the CL and FA Cup. I think Chelsea will drop points. It's gonna be close.

      The only problem is the FA cup. David Moyes prizes it much more highly than league position and if Everton are still in it he will definitely rest Jelavic for at least one of the DGW games to keep him fresh

    My top 8 atm:
    Dempsey Bale Walcott Valencia McClean
    Rooney RVP Cisse

    2 FT's, 0.1mill in bank. Which one to do:
    A) Bale -> Sess
    B) Bale -> Siggy (dependent on Swansea match)
    C) Other

    (Only have 10 players for next GW atm)

    Did anyone else put Stephen Ireland in this morning? STO, mun, BOL SUN in next three weeks. In the unique position of having a game in 34 plus a double in 35. Seems guaranteed of game time at the moment. Only downside is his 1 goal and 2 assists this season. Hoping the gamble will pay off.

      Usually i would agree. Patience at this stage in the season is not a luxury we have. As each week passes the points wasted on holding players who are not bringing in the returns can be costly.

      If you can get him back for GW36 it is worth selling

        This. As my 2nd keeper slot has been non-playing until now (Moreira), am bringing in Boggers. Thought about Metrov, but doubt it's worth it.

          I agree with the above. I've got Bogdan as my cheap keeper anyway. I'mnot gonna waste a transfer on any other Bolton players. I can't see them getting many points anyway.

      chelsea two offside goals at home to wigan is a lot worse, as they may have an actual negative impact on the future of two EPL clubs

    Okay keeping aside all the logics I’m going to get rid of BALE now will probably think about getting him for dgw…..got 2 FT and 0.0 in bank
    thinking
    pog & bale > odemwingie & 7.5 midfielder

    a) suggest a midfielder sub 7.5 just for gw 34 apart from… sess siggy valencia

    b) should i get odemwingie/ long/ fortune……if i get in Fortune i’ll have 9.6 for a midfielder….

    Help appreciated a lot…..

        It's a very good goal, but there's not one genuine attempt to tackle him.
