With Sunderland’s upcoming fixtures affording Fantasy managers a viable route into the conundrum that is Gameweek 34 and double Gameweek 36, Stephane Sessegnon looks primed for investment. The top scoring Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player for Martin O’Neill’s side, Sessegnon has a couple of home games against two of the bottom five and, with the Black Cats performances at the Stadium of Light continuing to impress, the Benin international could be set to profit once again.

Many managers’ transfer plans now turn to the difficult weekend ahead and, with eight sides facing blanks, a tactical alternative is to focus on those with strong fixtures over both Gameweek 34 and 36. One of only three sides with favourable home fixtures in each of those Gameweeks – along with Swansea and West Brom – O’Neill’s outfit face an out-of-sorts Wolves on Saturday before playing host to Bolton in a fortnight’s time. Sandwiched in between is a trip to Villa – a clash that won’t deter Sessegnon’s potential suitors.

Despite their recent hammering at Everton, a look at Sunderland’s contrasting home/away form since the sacking of Steve Bruce indicates just how strong a force the Black Cats are in front of their own fans. While they have picked up 11 points from 10 ten games on the road, the Wearsiders have accrued 20 points from nine home fixtures under O’Neill. Six wins, a couple of draws and a single loss are indicative of their reliable home displays, with Arsenal the only side to escape with the three points.

With two goals, three assists and five bonus points over his eight home appearances under O’Neill, Sessegnon has returned a total of 48 points at the Stadium of Light – an average of six points per home game since Bruce’s dismissal. Indeed, in spite of Sunderland’s poor away form, Sessegnon has remained consistent on the road – a couple of goals, three assists and four bonus points is almost identical to his home returns and will instill plenty confidence ahead of the Gameweek 35 trip to Villa Park.

While a trip to Fulham and home clash with United look tricky, Sessegnon’s short-term fixtures promote him highly in the updated Watchlist rankings and, with Nicklas Bendtner a doubt due to a back injury, he may well be afforded the opportunity to lead the line once again, as O’Neill’s side look to bounce back from the Goodison mauling and finish the season on a high.

What's the better transfer to do this week to get 10 players on the field:

    A) Miyaichi > Walcott
    B) Santon > Turner/McAuley
    C) Skrtel > Turner/McAuley
    D) Bale > Walcott

Either way, i'd be losing a DGW player. Any advice appreciated.

Lost on last page fellas. Any help welcome..

Simple question guys. Get McAuley in for GW34 (I currently have 9 players, including likes of RVP, Rooney, Evans, Valencia, Walcott, so basis are covered really)

    OR

Save the transfer, and get in Bogdan for GW35 (&GW 36). My keeper that I would sacrifice is Hilario, already have Vorm.

    Any help appriciated.

What are your thoughts on my transfer plan.

For GW34: Skrtel and Dempsey to Vermaelen and Sess(C) (-4)
For GW35: Walcott and Jelavic to Dempsey(C) and Cisse (-4)
For GW36: Kompany and Rooney to Baines and Adebayor (-4)

Leaving this team for GW36. It doesn’t have many doubles but the players who don’t generally have a very good fixture:

    Vorm
    Verm, Baines, Williamson
    Valencia, Sigurdsson, Sessegnon, Dempsey
    Van Persie, Adebayor, Cisse

The GW34 one works because just them playing makes up the hit.
The GW35 one may not work but I think it has a good chance because Dempsey has a large chance of scoring as well as Cisse.
Baines and Adebayor both play one more game than the players they are replacing so the 4 point hit will be made up if they just play 90 although Rooney could very easily score more than Ade and Baines.

Looking at City and Untd's fixtures and I say it's a 50/50 coin toss between Aguero and Roon. Despite Aguero's away form most of the season it seems Tevez is a blessing to his FFS skills. SAF will also decide to play Rooney with Welbeck and that will greatly profit Rooney, but Welbeck also seems to do very well in that situation and likes leaching points. What to do homies?

Considering a hit (-4) for Cisse > Aguero on Gw34.. Worth it?

    Vorm
    Vermaelen - Evans - Turner
    Valencia - Siggy - Sess. - Walcott
    RvP - Rooney - (Cisse)
    SUB: Schwarzer, Bale, BAE, Simpson

Fielding 11 with 3 big hitters is tempted.

Bale -> Walcott for this week? Will cost me -4

Behind by 53 in minileague and only team of top 3 w/ WC still available.

I want him back for DGW36 which means I may lose budget, but no 2nd hit as I will use the WC.

    10 active for GW34:

    Vorm
    Verm / Evans J / Turner / McAuley
    Sess / Valencia / Sigy
    RVP / Rooney
    (Bogdan / Simpson / Bale / Dempsey / Cisse)

    Thanks in advance

    Guys, I'm playing 11 this week, I think it's mad not to even if it means a hit or two. Currently on;

    Mingnolet

    Evans Verm Caulker Kompany

    Sess Valencia Walcott Siggy

    RVP Rooney

No playing subs. Any suggestions or something I'm missing? Cheers.

Do you think Berbatov is still going back to Bundesliga in the summer? Sami Hyypia is coaching his old club Bayer Leverkusen now...or maybe to Bayern Munich as rumoured? I guess Fergie has his reasons not to play him..

I don't know what they are, we could do with his class right about now.

Vague links from British newspapers, but nothing from reliable German sources. The Sun mentioned a £5 million move to Hannover 96, but they couldn't afford Berbatov's wages and already have Mame Biram Diouf (10 goals in 15 games, but now out for the season with ligament damage), Mohammed Abdellaoue, Didier Ya Konan, Jan Schlaudraff and Artur Sobiech as strikers.

Bayern Munich is also not an option. A usually well-connected Bayer Leverkusen acquaintance said in January that a deal to sign Berbatov in the summer had already been agreed, but nothing more has come of this.

Ok, would be interesting to see him play in Germany again, especially back in Leverkusen. Would imagine he`d be very motivated..after all he is only 31 and still has many good seasons.

Gah! Knocked out of the Champions League by Fratboy - the only team I could have drawn who ended up with a better score than me! Would have been confident of getting to the final if I'd got through this round, was just one clean sheet from doing so as well! Don't waste this chance now Fratboy!

I think Fratboy is gonna be knocked out......Let me elaborate, he is facing me...

But seriously, I think Enr has an awesome chance of winning the cup. His wc will be extremely handy and should guarantee him qualification in the semi final. Also enr most likely has a full xi this week.

I want to pick either silva, nasri or walcott this week for the next 2 gw's.

    Which is the best option?

Obviously walcott but also might bring in an arsenal def so maybe too much arsenal coverage?

    Silva - is he back?

Nasri - the man in form, but will he start both games in gw34 and 35?
