In this latest article for members, we focus on the midfield area for the problematic Gameweek 34. With several contenders vying for our attention and cherished free transfer, we examine the recent form of four of the top attractions on offer – Stephane Sessegnon, James McClean, Theo Walcott and Gylfi Sigurdsson – using our own ICT Fantasy Index and the data from Opta.

Need to shift senderos out for a player for this week.
Don't want to spend more than 5m
Turner
McCauley
Ridgewell
Are options. Anyone else? Must be nailed on to start.Open Controls-
your in the exact same boat as me...
im edging towards turner....
thinking of maybe chancing lichaj with villa (i have 11 players already for thsiw eek)
also looking into the possibility of gallas/king
think i'll go with turner, in case one my 11 dont start this week
dave wheater may get a goal in his double gameweeks alsoOpen Controls-
+1 re: Wheater

Some say that Turner's position in the starting eleven is just as insecure as Kilgallon's. I've got Mignolet in my team and a FT but decided against bringing on of them for Kelly to field a full lineup
Open Controls -
Me too, same problem. Im considering a Villa with my FT
1 or 2 points this week, but DGW next weekOpen Controls

is it possible to have 3 free transfers? i always thought max no 2, no matter how many weeks you dont make a transfer, but have seen an article somewhere stating something about savinf for 3 free transfers.
Open Controls-
No, it's in the rules. You can't have more than 2 FT.
Open Controls -
what that means is saving it this week. Then you have 2 in 35, where you only use 1, and the other one carries into DGW, meaning you get a total of 3 FTs.
Or you use 1 this week, one next one in DGW for the same result.Open Controls -
Impossible
Open Controls-
Possible, description taken out of context as regards article which includes planning for 2 future gws.
Open Controls

Got 1 FT and 2m in the bank, but just don't it's worth to buy another player just to field 11 players.
Mignolet
Evans, Caulker, Vermaelen
Walcott, Sess, Sigg, Valencia
RVP (C), Rooney (VC)
10 players starting at home and 2 FT next week to prepare for DGW without making any hits. Do you think it's best strategy?Open Controls-
I think you can get by with 10 this week, assuming you mean you have 1 this week which you intend to save?
Open Controls-
I had 2 FT before this gameweek and already spent one on Bale -> Walcott.
Open Controls
-
-
Stick with that team and save your transfers. Those 10 will outperform most this week.
Open Controls -
maybe, but 10 may not all play.
walcott may be rested.
rooney maybe even? after he was subbed early the last day
who knows...id get in 1 player if i were uOpen Controls-
Why would he be? Arsenal play Wigan on Monday. I just don't see any interesting options there. I don't think it's sensible to sell Dempsey or Cisse for Bendtner or Silva and then bring them back before GW35.
Open Controls -
Walcott rested for what?
5 days in between games, no other competitions to play..Open Controls
-
-
Save it. BTW that's exactly my team for the week.
Open Controls
-
-
Given doubts abot Bardsleys fitness and O Shea possibly back who is most nailed on to start against Wolves?
Open Controls-
Turner
Open Controls-
Errr.... NOPE. He'll probably miss out according to known Mackems
Open Controls
-
-
-
kilgallon, like lichaj, should be avoided at all costs
Open Controls-
Doos? 😉
Open Controls
-
-
Transferring Kilgallon in make sense. If he plays then you've a defender against the worst away defence, if he doesn't, you've brought in the cheapest player possible (bar De Laet) thus freeing up more money for the double week.

If Chelsea win this weekend, he has a 0% chance of playing 180 minutes of the DGW. Even if they lose I'd say it's only 30%.
Open Controls

If you had to have one midfielder this week only, for £6.6m or loss, who would it be? (Apart from Gylfi - already got him). And if so, is he worth a 4 point hit (he's going straight back out next week for Petrov/Miyaichi/M Davies).
Open Controls-
-
McClean and I'd much prefer him in the GW36 than a Bolton midfielder also.
Open Controls
-
-
Villa players that might turn good gw35?
Open Controls -
What are the odds of Walcott not playing on Monday?
Open Controls-
Little to none, will be rested, in form, and playing in a position which can't be filled. Plenty at stake for Arsenal, probably coming of early will become the pattern.

I swear I would pay double the membership if there only was a "view all comments by yourself" function on the site

so that we dont have to scroll through 4 times 10 pages to find the one comment I made earlier were there was some really good banter going on, but which i had to drop suddenly because of work/guests/surprise bj's etc

not really working out for me that...
Open Controls

Aguero or Rooney till the end of the season? Currently have Rooney but I am very tempted to switch.
Open Controls -
-
-
If you think he'll end his drought of not having found the back of the net in an away game since October then go for it.
Open Controls -
If you're chasing down a big lead it could be a decent gamble, but a gamble it certainly is.
Open Controls-
I would have to take risk,if not we would end up playing family game with my rival

Just worked out that I can get rid of Walcott for Dempsey this week and get Walcott back for GW37!

Why would you get rid of Walcott this week when Demps isn't playing?
Open Controls

Vorm
Caulker J.Evans Sagna
Walcott Sigurdsson McClean Valencia
Rooney RVP
Subs : Bogdan BAE Cahill Cisse ?
Bench in order ? 😛Open Controls-
U R Joking about bench order....
while i have 12 players and don't know who to bench...Open Controls

Has anyone noticed I haven't posted a RMT in days? 😛
I'm not even going to do this week.Open Controls -
Is it actually worth getting a headache over GW36 yet?
The way I see it at present is that Spurs and Chelsea have the best fixtures, but who is likely to play in all of them given one of those teams will have a Cup final 3 days after their second fixture.
I was leaning towards Mata/Bale/Ade but was looking to get them in early.
Are the semis decided on the day??Open Controls-
Exactly. Think about it a few days before the double. It will be clearer by then too

Which is the best option?
Kaboul > Collins this week, McClean > Petrov next week
or
Adebayor > Agbonlahor/Wiemann this week, McClean > Petrov next week
Using my WC GW36.
Any advice?Open Controls-
First one imo. Id get Collins but cant afford him
Open Controls

Aguero and Mc clean
or
Yak and Sess??Open Controls-
A, but id rather have Sess
Open Controls

Right guys, I know its mental, but considering a Villa defender to make up the numbers this week, with a 1-2 pointer, but then a lovely DGW next week.
I have 4.9 to spend so options are.....
Lichaj 4.0 (played recently a bit, but risk of rotation)
Cuellar, 4.9 (Nailed on when fit without Dunne, but been injured)
Hutton 4.9 (Lol)
Warnock 4.9 (Injury doubt)
Anyone help at all??Open Controls-
Hutton is a yellow card magnet. He seems to kick anything that moves. I would go Lichaj. Warnock isn't playing and Lichaj has looked not bad.
Open Controls
-
alright yakubu or aguero for the next 2 weeks!?
got ruddy and vorm in goals... rather play vorm, so Aguero!?Open Controls -
Will Tevez start tomorrow?
Open Controls -
Meh don't really care about planning for GW36 anymore. just gonna go with that feels right at the time.
GW34 lineup
Mignolet
Kompany, Caulker, Evans, Vermaelen
Sessegnon, Valencia, Siggy, Walcott
Rooney, RVP
Done what I can and now its upto them to perform.Open Controls -
-
Cisse, RvP, Adebayor
Open Controls -
RVP Rooney Papiss
Open Controls-
Rooney's overhead spectacular was at the Etihad so he could be up for that game. Seeing how he does against Villa before I decide to sell or not.
Open Controls-
no it wasn't it was OT, I was there
Open Controls -
I just dont trust that donkey Ade near my team, I was burnt terribly by him before Xmas. Never had him in my team at the right times, captained him DGW24. So frustrating to watch him while he is in my team.
VDV or Kaboul or i will stick to my 2 spurs.Open Controls

Depends on cup finalists and title race and form but:
RVP, Cisse, Ade
Other candidate: JelavicOpen Controls -

Name your top 3 surprise gems for game-week 36? ie not people like Cisse, Ben Afra, Mata etc...
Open Controls-
It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you now.
Open Controls -
Pienaar, Pennant, Petrov
(Alliteration FTW)Open Controls -
I'm might get in Hibbert for evans
Open Controls -
Walters, Ba, Maxi
Open Controls

so who should i get in for dgw bale or dempsey? Dempsey has tougher opponents but can't stop scoring, or bale who has easier opponents and is due some big points?
Open Controls-
If you're bringing them in just before GW36 then Bale, but if you're going to make the transfer in GW35 then Dempsey, he's a captain candidate against WIG.
Ideally you'd have both for the double.Open Controls-
yeah nice one, Maybe dempsey first (gw35) then bale in for valencia for dgw.
Open Controls
-
-
All aboard the Bendy Bus then!
Open Controls -
If you had this team, would you save trannie for GW35 and then use 2, maybe 3 (for a hit?) to get 2-3 more DGW players? Thinking Jellyfish/Ade + Bale at the minute for the 2 moves.
Krul Mignolet
Vermaelen Simpson Evans Caulker Kompany
