The FA Cup affected Gameweek 34 swings into action with title challengers Manchester City facing a stern test at Carrow Road. The Dugout Discussion opens for what will surely be an eventful day, with one eye on the Premier League and one eye on the goings on at Wembley (and also perhaps Aintree). The team news from our early kick-off is in, and the line-ups are as follows…

Norwich XI: Ruddy, Martin, Ward, Ryan Bennett, Drury, Elliott Bennett, Howson, Johnson, Pilkington, Holt, Wilbraham

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, De Jong, Barry, Nasri, Tevez, Aguero, Silva

The Canaries name an unchanged side from their successful trip to White Hart Lane, and Pablo Zabaleta in for Micah Richards is City’s only alteration.

After the title race has either heated up or died down, we’ve got another three Premier League games to enjoy. The almost relegated Wolves take a trip to the Stadium of Light, fellow strugglers Blackburn travel to Swansea, and West Brom host QPR, another side looking to avoid the drop.

Follow all the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which is open and can be accessed right here.

But wont you spend points to get them in and then out again next GW? Im worried about going into next GW with just Aguero, but is it really worth it to spend points on getting Yaya or Tevez.

Can ANYBODY help with this ??

    Al-Habsi | Bogdan
    SKelly | Santon | Caulker | JEvans | Kaboul
    Sessegnon | Sigurdsson | Pilkington | Mata | Silva
    RVP | P.Cisse | Rooney

    bank: 0.8
    2 FT

    ____

    before GW35: Mata & Rooney —–> Dempsey & Aguero
    before GW36: Silva & Pilkington —–> Bale & Pienaar ( with – 4 pts hit)

then after GW36 I will have 1.3 mln in the bank.

It gives me 8 players with duoble games in GW36. Plus players like RVP, Sessegnon and Sigurdsson to play with one game and favourable fixtures in GW36.

The only big “?” in this plan is no Chelsea and Liverpool players for DGW36. Can I handle without ?

    Feel bad for Silva owners.

City win 6-1 and he gets 5pts. A bit typical but that must be disappointing for those who kept faith.

So nearly got Tevez in last night! Lol. Would of involved taking out RVP or Rooney though, so was gonna get rid of Rooney but had more pressing transfers in order to field 9 players. Still made the right decision I think.

God, seems the amount of time I spend on this game is inversely proportional to the success I have, brought in Aguero for a three week punt and accidentally left the captaincy on him, can't complain 🙂

Good job I had a 78 point lead going into today - my rival (who has made only two transfers in the last 8 gws) had Aguero (c), Silva, Clichy and Surman on the bench. What an advert for leaving your team and hoping for the best 🙁
