The FA Cup affected Gameweek 34 swings into action with title challengers Manchester City facing a stern test at Carrow Road. The Dugout Discussion opens for what will surely be an eventful day, with one eye on the Premier League and one eye on the goings on at Wembley (and also perhaps Aintree). The team news from our early kick-off is in, and the line-ups are as follows…

Norwich XI: Ruddy, Martin, Ward, Ryan Bennett, Drury, Elliott Bennett, Howson, Johnson, Pilkington, Holt, Wilbraham

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, De Jong, Barry, Nasri, Tevez, Aguero, Silva

The Canaries name an unchanged side from their successful trip to White Hart Lane, and Pablo Zabaleta in for Micah Richards is City’s only alteration.

After the title race has either heated up or died down, we’ve got another three Premier League games to enjoy. The almost relegated Wolves take a trip to the Stadium of Light, fellow strugglers Blackburn travel to Swansea, and West Brom host QPR, another side looking to avoid the drop.

    Haven't seen much of Siggy play before as am living in China, but have seen his last 2 games. He looks like a quality player, and a great long-range shooter. Surely a big club will snap him up soon!

      When I saw him play for Swansea in one of his first matches I didn't really understand how he'd deliver because he wasn't playing incredibly far forward. What I didn't realize was that's how he scores goals, get the ball to him outside the box and give him a shot. He works so well for Swansea because he converts their possession outside the box into goals.

        an interesting option, but yeah there is an extra hit involved

        a 12 point hit for DGW seems extreme, mind you could just play Mingolet in DGW.

        He does have the DGW as well.

        Other option is drop De Gea 1 week early.

      Siggy could do well @ Bolton. I'd be more tempted to get Demps in - for whom is your choice but I'd probably go TonyV if you're planning on keeping Rooney

    Haha Mancini is totally trolling. His "title race is over" comments have confused much of the bloody media, but listening to his post-match comments today, he repeats "title race is over", says something like "everyone says Man United are a different team and we have no chance" and when asked about whether City are under pressure says something like "we're never under pressure". He's kidding of course. Just taking the piss out of the media, repeating back to them what they'd been saying just the week before.

    Whats the best plan to do over the next few gameweeks?
    1)invest in some city players? theyre very costly though and i dont know if i would have the money to do so..
    2) get rid of bale? bought him at 9.1. and for who?
    3) good idea stocking up for GW 36 any more than already? most teams have difficult double GW’s anyway, aside from the likes of tottenham who i already have 2 players from.
    4) use my free transfer to bring in bogdan for both duoble GW’s?
    any other help is appreciated.
