The music Sky use for six of the best is f*cking garbage. They have used the same irritating music for years now. Get it changed!

Anyone else think the 2nd of the DW fixtures will be a damp squib in comparison to the 1st? Everton, Chelsea, Spurs and Newcastle face tougher fixtures than their 1st game. Stoke, Bolton and Fulham face equally tough fixtures while Liverpool are likely to rotate. I can't see anyone scoring more than one goal or getting more than 1 assist.

completely different set of fixtures, plus there's the FA cup final which is going to lead to some changes in the chelsea and liverpool ranks.

I see hope for Dempsey and Fulham against Liverpool, who may rest Suarez.

Newcastle will come out fighting, but probably not enough to win. Could be enough for a Cisse goal.

From my point of view though the first set of fixtures were the damp squib.

Long time lurker first time poster. Really love this site and the advice I get on here, people really know alot about football. Struggled to get in the top 100k all season and just on the bring now with this double gameweek 93 point (-8). Sorry don't know how to link my team. Anyway, thinking of the next gameweek am really eyeing up Vermalean and RVP against Norwich, they are conceeding goals for fun and it seems a no brainer.

There will be space for RVP to exploit, could be a couple of goals, maybe captain him

I agree but I think Jelavic will be a better captain against Wolves as he is unstoppable at the moment. RVP has kinda hit a slump and one tap in and a penalty in 8 gameweeks doesn't mean he is back. I'll transfer him in but I think making him captain is a bit of a stretch.

Those quoting: 'Score(-point hit)' - you do yourself a needless disservice, sirs.

Your point hit is subtracted from your total before the gameweek starts. Anything you make in the gameweek is yours for keeps! Maybe it's some sort of psychological caution against taking further hits or something but you don't announce your final score as: 2,500 (-120pts)...

Go easy on yourself, shout your gameweek score - without mention of pesky hits - from the very rooftops!

    Like so: "EIGHTY-NINE!"

In this case, you should announce your gameweek score as "SEVENTY-FOUR!" and not "eithy six". Announcing is as 86(-12) you do yourself a service, making yourself proud of scoring 86, when in fact your total points increase just by 74.

Any chance Cahill or Kelly to play in the second match? My Rival has Moses coming off his bench.

Yeah I'd say there's a chance either one of them could. I depending on f*cking Andy Carroll playing the next game otherwise my H2H gets Moses too.

I looked at your league. You're safe, if one is missing Valencia comes on as sub, if both are missing, the replacements will be Valencia and Evans as he needs 3 defenders to play. Moses can't play.

After the Tevez(c) fail at Wolves, I'm going with Rooney(c) against an experimental Swansea side.
Man Utd will still need at least a draw v Swansea to clinch the league so will put out a full strength side.

Sky wins, this has the makings of the biggest viewing figures all season. At lot of neutrals interested in seeing how this plays out, never mind the Man obsessives.

But playing along, I foresee 2-1 home win, and Roberto to snatch the title from under Fergie's ever-reddening hooter.

Watching the Spurs game yesterday I was at times aggravated on the low level of passing and defensive positioning of our young lad Danny Rose. He did OK I guess under the circumstances, but compared to the 3 other defenders he was a level below.

That he got now has a bap is a bit surprising, and has again left me with the feeling that the new Bap system rewards quantity not quality.

i dnt think he did badly
the problem was with bale, he was always in the middle looking clueless
rose was going forward just like bae does, but by the time he had to either through pass bale by the line or pass the simple ball to him and overlap, bale was MIA at the egde of the box with 4 bodies around him which made rose very short of options, not to mention that sandro was also pushing forward into the traffic (while parker would be deeper and more open to the pass)

i think totenham were poor yesterday, as poor as the last couple of games, but blackburn they looked like a league 1 team or even worse

Problem is my way will let you be in contention in your ML but overall a sub 5k finish it seems is the best one can hope for. Might have to be more aggressive next year to get off to a better start to try and get a sub 1k finish.

    Last 3 weeks been awful
Lost lead of ML - trailing by 32 pts
Dreams of leading another ML shattered as well

THIS DGW my 77pts are the best in both ML
    Leading in both

Rooney (if the title race isn't decided tonight) & RVP imo.

GW37 - Vermaelen, RVP, Rooney stand out with Nani, Moses, Pienaar also good options.

GW38 - Tevez, Aguero, Moses, Maloney, VDV. Lampard/Mata/Torres also.

United and City players depending on how tonight goes and how the title race is looking.

      RVP/Verm for me.

Other than that I would invest in City, potentially Aguero/Kompany. Wigan have a decent run in, Moses?!?!?

    Overall Ranks Updated.

With 8 bonus points I fell exactly 32 places. Weird haha.

I got 9 and fell 2 places. Surprised as I'd risen 60 places with my GW score, so assumed I'd keep on rising.
