Set Piece Takers Table Now Live

Another piece in the Fantasy Football Scout jigsaw for the new season was restored this evening, with the Set Piece Takers table published and added to the top menu bar.

Andy has rinsed through all the Premier League clubs and added details for all the Penalty, Direct Free Kick and Corner/Indirect Free Kick takers. When it comes to Penalties and Free Kicks, the players are listed according to the current perceived pecking order.

As we get more data from the pre-season matches, we’ll be refreshing the table accordingly. Plus, once the season starts, we’ll be keeping this table up to date to reflect any changes and pecking order shuffles for each team.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    FFS's striving to be the most comprehensive site for EPL fantasy managers is evident with the new Projection section in the members area. Thanks for all of your work. I'm back for a second season as a member from the USA. I would like to see a comprehensive list of each team's Captains and alternates before the season starts. The captain always plays, dah, so its a good starting point when getting to know the promoted sides.

      I guess that's unavoidable ... but I loathe it. As if the deadzone isn't lowly-populated enough ... when that happens it pushes people off the site. Most nights I get off here because of it.

      I know it seems petty, but you'll get more responses with a linked team and a gravatar (information on both in the FAQ section, link at bottom of page).

      Harte looks to be in jeopardy to Shorey, so you'll want to look at that.
      Standard front line, no surprises there.
      IMO, I think you should use some of your cash to upgrade a Reading player (Pog to Graham or Petric for example, both @ 6.0).

      6 DGWers is closer to insane than inspired ... but if you're set on it, good luck.

        Might have to upgrade Tev to Aguero depending on game time.

        Reason for lotta cash in the bank:

        Lotta good 6.5 mids but which one to choose. Kag might be a must have at 8.5.
        Ba depending where he plays might be a must have at 7.5. Petric has looked great in pre-season. Lotta choices. So I know I got a lotta cash at the start but it gives me a little flexibility.

          mata is as likely to play as anyone now he's eliminated from the olympics; he's barely played in the summer at all. kagawa is 99% nailed on for the opener, nasri and tevez are 90% each i would say. most of the attacking players for big clubs aren't entirely named on this season.

            Mata will still be given time off I reckon with the number of attacking options they've. Tevez will surely face competiton from Balotelli\Dzeko . And its not likely that Kagawa will play each game . United could go 4-4-2 depending on their opponents . Kagawa,surely can hit the ground running but he's a wait and watch for me .

            WRT doubling up reading for the DGW , the only way you can replace them is by taking hits . there's not many players who offer you good value at that price .

              agreed on all counts, but my point sort of stands. the nailed on attacking players out of utd, city and chelsea are non-existent aside from torres (who is most likely gonna be crap again), rooney (who i have) and... that's it. i honestly think tevez could play just half the games and still get a huge fpl score, the guy is a beast. kagawa is a risk but i think fergie is really, really impressed and he's a class above the likes of welbeck, hernandez etc; he will play regularly, albeit not every game. as i've said below, i think this could be nasri's season to star, but i accept it's a risk.

              as for the reading guys, i don't think there's any better value for those prices, and they'll be benched most of the time anyways.

      Would be worried Nasri does not start - Mancini is a rotating machine. + Better to have 2 playing Keepers. Nothing worse than being stuck with one. Cost me bad last season with Mingolet/Westwood and Bego/Sorenson

        that's the risk of having city/utd/chelsea attacking players in general though. i have a feeling this could be nasri's season, especially with silva most likely getting less game time this season (after a long summer and obvious fatigue last season)
