Mark

We are just over an hour away from another Fantasy deadline, swiftly followed by our first delicious slice of weekend action as Arsenal take on Chelsea in the early kick-off. We’ll cover that with our Dugout Discussion later but, for now, we’ve opened up the Surgery Chatroom to capture your views and opinions as you carry out last minute tinkering.

Don’t forget, to soak up all our key coverage from the site over the past seven days you can direct your eyes at Andy’s Catch-Up article published earlier this morning.

The Pre-Match Preamble is on its way shortly…

Morning peeps,

Due to illness (read stinking hangover) I am not with it this morning, so i am on bended knee asking for assistance. Have a look at my team

Friedel (Fed)
Vermaelen Lescott Cuellar (Hangeland Demel)
Michu Pienaar Morrison Ben-Arfa (Robson-Kanu)
RVP(c) Tevez Petric

I have 1 free transfer and 1.7 in the bank. Petric will probably play now that Berbs in injured otherwise he’d have been turfed

Shall i stick with what i have for this week or make a change?

Stick...but if you really want to use the tranny could get out Fed or Kanu...for Bego/Sterling?. Up to you really, maybe just save it tbh and get them out in the coming weeks.

I’m using my two free transfers to sort out my defense and am taking out Hangeland and Lescott. I’m definitely bringing in Baines but not sure of the second:

Demel or Nelson?

Happy Saturday everyone! Good to go for the week? Like everyone else tempted by taking a hit to get rid of Tevez but think I'm going to stick for another week and assess later. Should I start Sterling over him? Bench in right order?

G: Begovic

D: Baines (vc) - McAuley - Clark

M: Bale - Pienaar - Fellaini - HBA

F: RVP (C) - Tevez - Ba

B: Jussi - Sterling - Davies - Naughton

if 2 players have similar form (points) but one has been clinical and the other wasteful who would you rather sign for your FPL team?

For me, contrary to intuition, it would be the wasteful one because it means he's had a lot more chances and he will probably improve his conversion rate whereas the clinical guy will probably drop off somewhat.

Typical example is Defoe vs Fletcher. Defoe all the way for me.

b) One to play from Dyer, Maloney and Lambert?

Please bear in mind that I have Baines (at home to Southampton), Begovic (at home to Swansea) and Cuellar (at home to Wigan) which may affect my attacking / defensive returns.

2 BIG Questions!

1) Need to bring in Fellaini - who to go though? Midfield currently Yaya Cazorla Bale Michu.

2) Is Torres going to pick up some form or is it time to get rid? And any candidates to replace him? I'm reluctant to bring in City strikers given their rotatability....

Please help!!
