Loftus Road provides the floodlit setting for the conclusion to Gameweek 6 as Mark Hughes’ QPR host West Ham. We’ve opened up the Dugout Discussion chatroom to catch the items that drop from the messy minds of Fantasy managers while the action unfolds.

The team news from tonight’s game is somewhat significant. There were mixed messages on the likely return of Andy Carroll to the Hammers lineup but, when the dust settled the big Geordie only makes the bench after his recent hamstring twang. He will loom large in reserve tonight, then. Sam Allardyce does make one change, however, bringing in Matt Jarvis for the unfortunate Matt Taylor on the left flank: Taylor is apparently carrying a knock. As for the hosts, they give a start to Djibril Cisse with Junior Hoilett the man to make way. Stephane Mbia is given a first Premier League start, in for the injured Jose Bosingwa.

QPR Starting XI: Cesar, Onuoha, Nelsen, Mbia, Hill, Park, Wright-Phillips, Granero, Faurlin, Zamora, Cisse.

West Ham Starting XI: Jaaskelainen, Demel, Collins, Reid, O’Brien, Noble, Diame, Nolan, Vaz Te, Jarvis, Cole.

    seriously? Last week there was no mention of Bale and everyone was on Fellaini/Pienaar. One week with a 2 pointer and Fellaini is considered transferable??
    
    Have you seen their fixtures?? I guess I am a newbie when it comes to FFS having only participated for 3 years, but MY GOD how knee jerky people are at the start of this season...

        I've already made the mistake of selling Mata, Bale AND Torres so far. All scoring well this week. I'm going to stay patient and try to keep away from those points hits.
        
        Hazard and Fellaini are staying for me. WOuld keep HBA too if I had him

        Agreed, like I said on the ScoutCasts, it's the rises. It's crazy, I've felt it myself - that feeling that there is cash leaking from your team if you pause for thought. Personally, I think it needs calming a tad.

People dissing Suarez because it was Norwich are missing the point. He always creates lots of chances even against good teams and when Liverpool are playing poorly.

Liverpool are now playing well and more importantly Suarez has a rediscovered how to score.. 😎

  so have many people Mark, as I can tell by the fact that his price has dropped again. I actually want to sell him, but I ditched Marveaux, so he's essentially now my 5th mid. I can not be bothered wasting a transfer on a 5th mid slot. I'll probably just keep him until I wc.

      no idea. Thought about after this GW, but unlikely. Am hoping for a GW36 style DGW to use it for, if not he will be out when I use Jan wc and I will just use the other wc in GW38 to build a 1 week team.
      
      Of course a spate of injuries or loss of form could change that.

    Had CR7 in, only reason I ditched him was that I wanted United coverage, and RvP was the best option, especially as Valencia hasn't travelled, and Nani is well, Nani, so I went with Di Maria.
    
    That being said, Nani and CR7 is do-able
    
    With Valencia and Young injured, Nani is nailed on.

    I know. Thing is a keeper may get 2 points. If i pick a striker that hits 2-3 goals and Tevez is rested, changing my striker is the best move.

      yes, but you will very rarely, if ever, have a keeper. Tevez will still get minutes. Get Foster in for either keeper.

Really surprised that Crouch is not drawing more attention.

His ICT stats are very good, he is top on penalty area touches, riding high on FPL points

This is despite having Chelsea, City and Arsenal in their first six weeks.

At 6.6 a good buy imo - also an option away from home, route1....

Ok may not be cool but blame that on the robot 😉

  Give it a few GW's...fixtures are looking very sweet. He's very unfashionable though - like a more effective Kevin Davies. I reckon folk know there's sense in it but, like Roy Hodgson, are doing all they can to fight it.

get Giovinco, Matri or Vucinic for Mkhitaryan? As I think he won't bring me 10 points anymore with the upcoming fixtures... And Juve is in such a great form, that I don't want to miss having their attacking coverage.
