We just won’t let it lie. Having rinsed through the idea in this week’s Digest, the prospect of dropping this new breed of “in the hole” midfielders into a new Fantasy position gets another airing in this week’s ‘Cast. Granville agrees but we still somehow manage to argue about it.

      Thats not a mess at all. Although id keep an.eye on.hba, bale and lambert and look to ship one of them. Bale is just my opinion, dont think hes the same force as last season

    Alright lads?

    That knock to Gervinho a while back really put a spanner in the works. I was running a front seven of:

    Hazard - Bale - Gervinho - Michu
    RVP - Tevez - Ba

    It had proven to been pretty effective. Except, as stated, that injury to Gervinho really messed my team up. I decided to gamble. I sacrificed some players and took a hit from a team value of 105.4 to something like 104.7.

    The only conditions being, I took a big hit in transfers, something like -20. Anyhoo, I lost some ground after that rather barren round but now I have a forward seven of:

    Hazard - Cazorla - Bale - Michu - Sterling
    RVP - Tevez

    I also managed to swing in Rafael. So now I have a back line of Rafael, Baines, Cameron and a bench of: Nelson, Demel (inj)

    Bego in goals, with Tremmel in reserve now that Vorm is out.

    My team has since risen from 104.7 to 105.2 so I'm thinking the gamble paid off. Here's hoping I can best that 16,370 ranking!! 😀

    How are y'all progressing with gw18 on the horizon?

            Okay so currently I'm looking at Morrison > McAnuff, Fonte > Gorkss which leaves me with 9.3, just short of 9.4 required for Mata / Cazorla.
            But Walcott is 8.7 so I can easily afford him.

            So yeah. Morrison > McAnuff, Fonte > Gorkss and Pienaar > Walcott?

            I can do that... Or I can do Pienaar > Walcott.
            Problem with selling Michu is that I had him from the start. If I sell him I only get 6.9m which is a difference of .5m from his actual price.
            So if I sell him I can't get him back later if needed.

      I'd say the moves are good but doing it for a hit might not have been worth it. Depends if you needed to beat price rises. Anyway, you've done it now and it looks like a good medium-long term move to me.

        The reason was I am getting tired of Spurs lack of Clean Sheets and Morrison was suddenly injured and his position becomes deeper. Stoke has a very good chance for CS up coming weeks and Fellai's form is hard to ignore despite one yellow away from suspension.

        Back on that goalie thing. I think you have to really want the extra cash to swap jussi otherwise you could end up regretting it. There's always something better to do than a goalie transfer and you could end up stuck with tremmel for ages. I played bego over jussi last week and look what happened. If west ham can keep a cleanie at home to city then they can do it against anyone.

      Highly rated. Don't like Nelsen or Clyne though. I know they're cheap but neither are much use for CS. I guess you have the rotation between them and McCartney so it gives you options for your 3rd CB each week.
