A programme of six Premier League matches begins at St James’ Park where Newcastle host champions Man City in the early kick-off. Five three o’clock matches follow, with United’s home clash with Sunderland and Liverpool’s encounter with Villa the headline acts for Fantasy managers, as Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Luis Suarez take up the armband for the majority. The team news from the North East finds Hatem Ben Arfa missing out for the Magpies through injury – James Perch replaces the Frenchman in a move that looks to shore up the Newcastle midfield, with Jonas Gutierrez shifting forward as part of a 4-3-3. As for City, they are without skipper Vincent Kompany as expected, with Kolo Toure drafted in to replace him. Mario Balotelli is also discarded, with Carlos Tevez earning a start, while Javi Garcia replaces the suspended Gareth Barry.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Everyone is worried about Berba and his 6-7 blanks in a row. Suarez has had 5-6 blanks in a row with a couple of yellows! Even worse!

      Unless there is a double gameweek, I can't see myself owning Suarez. Way too expensive for a player you can't rely on.

      I'm glad Fell is gonna be banned for the sake of the FPL game...far too many teams have ended up with Michu/Fellaini...I hope it's three games then it'll mix em up a bit. I'm stuck with him though because he's Belgian..

    Well done Suarez and Berbatov... If Defoe comes good tomorrow I could conceivably get beaten by a team containing Hazard, Ivanovic and Jenkinson, with subs of Gorkss, Halliche (!!!) and Barkley (!!!!!)

    Fairly sure I'm cursed, brought in Suarez, Berbatov, Fellaini, Bunn, Sterling and Enrique at the worst possible time and I haven't owned Michu at any point this season. It seems crazy to me that I am inside the top 100k after those terrible decisions.

      well wait and see about Fellaini, but if he does get a ban it might be 3 or 4 matches, so you're going to have to look at getting him out first. Walcott might be fit for next match. Just wait for the verdict re Fellaini. I'm getting rid of Berbs and just playing Puncheon next week instead of Fellaini.
